The fifth edition of Gumani Premier League is going to start from 7th January at the ground of Millat High School located in Shrikund Gumani of Barharwa block area. Regarding this, the organizing committee of Gumani Premier League is busy preparing vigorously. Like every year, this year also GPL tournament will be organized. Using the experiences of the past, Efforts are on to make the tournament better this year. Teams from 24 panchayats of Sahibganj and Pakur districts have participated in this tennis ball tournament. Due to the Panchayat level tournament, minimum 6 players in the team from each Panchayat should be residents of that Panchayat and the remaining 5 players will be allowed to be brought from outside. The entry fee for the tournament for each panchayat team has been fixed at Rs 11,000. The winning team of the tournament will be given TVS Apache RTR bike and Splendid trophy and the runner-up team will be given Bajaj Pulsar bike and Splendid trophy. And the semi-final runner up will be given a Refridgerator. The live telecast of this tournament will be done on Gumani Live YouTube channel. The first opening match of the tournament will be between Srikund A vs Bakudi.
