1. SCORING
As per ICC rules 
 
2. THE MATCH GOVERNING RULES:
• Each game will limited to maximum 10 overs , 6 ball per over. 
• Teams can have 12 players in the team, but only 11 of them can bat or bowl 
• At any given time maximum of 11 players can field. 
• Pitch length will be 20 yards, (22 yards is too much) 
 Power play : 1st two overs : Bowling power play (2 fielders outside the circle) & 1 Over Batting 
 Power play after 5 over (4 fielder outside the circle) 
 
3.MATCH TIMINGS :
(a) Teams not reporting in time will be disqualified and their opponents will get a bye. 
 
(b) Both captains have to be present for the toss at 1 Hour before the schedule time. If the captain is not available, that team will forfeit the toss. The first ball of the match should be bowled at scheduled time. 
 
(c) All teams are expected to be prompt and ready to play. Any deliberate delay in the start of a game will result in the guilty team being penalized over’s or, ultimately, disqualification from the competition. In this case the opponents will get a bye. 
 
(d) All team members should be present before the match on the field. The game will not be held up due to the absence of any player of either side. 
 
(e) All matches are slated to start at scheduled time sharp. It is expected of all teams to finish one innings in 50 minutes.
 
(f) Umpire and management will allow time to set up the pitch and boundary markers. It takes 
minimum of 15-20 minutes to setup the ground. 
 
4.GENERAL RULES :
(a) Decisions by the umpires on the field of play are final. Any player showing unreasonable dissent in the opinion of the umpires shall be disqualified from further play in the tournament following due and  fair warning from the said officials. 
A player involved in the physical abuse of umpire will be disqualified from the game immediately, and  the team will not be allowed to field a substitute in his place. The IST sports committee will however  take an appropriate action/penalty of his actions. 
 
 (b) No LBWs: However to discourage deliberate padding a batsman will be judged OUT if he stopped  the ball with his body without making any effort to play the ball with his bat. 
 
(c) Transfer of players between teams is not allowed 
 
(d) Dead player will not be allowed to play for any other team. 
 
(e) “FREE HIT”: As per standard of ICC rules, 
 
(f) If any team/player makes any disturbance in course of running the tournament, the team /player  will be penalized i.e suspended for the tournament. In that case , annual sports may be postponed  according to the management decision. 
 
5.UMPIRES AND UMPIRING DUTIES :
(a) Sports Committee will select the Umpire .Each team has to abide by strictly. 
 
(b) Neutral umpires will adjudicate each game. 
 
(c) They are the final authority during the game. Their decisions are final. 
 
(d) They will remain impartial at all times on the field. 
 
(e) Will keep time of all breaks, and notify the captains as to when to resume. 
 
(f) They should file a complain about any indecent behaviour by a player or a team on 
the field to the IST sports committee
 
6.CAPTAIN’S RESPONSIBILITIES
(a) One player from each team will act as Captain for the duration of the competition. 
 
(b) They should be conversant and proficient with the laws of cricket. 
 
(c) They should control the behaviour of all his team players. (Conduct of his team.) 
 
(d) Acting on their behalf in the case of disputes 
 
(e) They should respect the umpire's opinions and decisions. 
 
(f) They will be responsible for going over the rules and regulations with their players. They should encourage the bowlers to bowl with the standard bowling action. 
 
(g) Captain of a team can retire his batsman only at the end of an over unless the batsman is really hurt. 
 
7. BOWLING QUOTA :
(a) All the matches will be of maximum 10 10 over’s. 
 
(b) Each Bowler can bowl a maximum of 3 over’s per match subject to 2 bowlers will complete 3 Overs. 
 
(c) Used minimum four Bolwer in a match, The pattern of minimum 4 bowlers is 3,3,2,2 
 
(d) An under Arm bowl ( Throw ball ) will be declared NO-Ball, after 3 times of under arm Bowl  the Bower will be disqualified from the bowling immediately.
 
8.INNINGS BREAK:
(a) Depends on umpires decisions. 
 
(b) All the players should be available and ready to take the field as soon as possible. 
 
9.RAIN/WASHOUTS/BAD WEATHER/BAD LIGHT :
 
(a) If the game is not completed due to bad light or bad weather then the game will be rescheduled possibly. 
 
10.DECISION OF MATCH IN CASE OF A TIE :
According to the rules in a cricket match, there cannot be any tie. In case of a situation, where the match ends up in a tie, each of the two teams would nominate three batsmen and one bowler to play an additional one over per side. This final over is called Eliminator or Super-over. It is also called the One 1. In first scenario, any team losing two wickets before the over is finished, loses the match. If it does not happen, the winning team is decided on the basis of run scored by each team in its Super Over. In case of a rare situation, where there is a tie even in the mini match, the decision of the winner 
would be made according to the comparative number of sixes during the whole innings by each side. In the rarest of rare cases where even the number of sixes in the innings are the same, the winning team would be decided on the basis of number of fours in both the innings.
 
11.PRIZES/AWARDS :
(a) The organizers will decide the prizes.
