*Manek Nagar Premier League Season 2 (MPL) Rules & Regulations for Ladies Team*

MPL Season 2 womens will be played on 11th December, 2022 will be at 4 pm at “ Manek-Nagar CHS, Kandivali West, Mumbai -400067. 

We want all Teams and Team players to play matches with Full Spirit and in a friendly manner. Play to Play and not to Win. Outside the field we are still family and friends. No disrespect of any players / teams on or outside the field. Please !!!

1. Both the Teams wil be playing one match with each other. Match schedule is already provieded in Cric Heros App 

2. Batting and Bowling of the 1st Match will be decided by Toss between both Captains and The next match will be Vice Versa.

3. In case if both the teams wins 1 matches each, then the Trophy Winner will be decided by Net Run Rate only

4. Points Table, Run Rate, Average, etc will be decided only by the CricHeros App. So no decision is personal. Man Of the Match, MVP, etc will be decided by the committee but as per App

Rules for Match 

1. Total of 7 over match will be played against every team. And Maximum 8 players in a Team to play

2. 7 bowlers will bowl 7 overs. No bowler will be allowed to repeat the over. Opening Batsmen cannot bowl an over in that match. Opening batsmen has to be different in both matches

3. Umpires decision will be final decision. There would be 3 umpires and in case of any conflict, majority will be taken in 3 umpire’s only. Only Captain can come and discuss anything with Umpire. Else Umpires will have full rights to disqualify a player who comes and Argues apart from Captain. Also no Wrong or continues arguments after all 3 umpires decision will be accepted even if it from Captain side

No wasting time in arguments. Umpire is liable to give warning to any players in case of Arguments, and repeated arguments or In discipline may also lead to disqualification of that player for that particular match and team will have to play with short of that player. No replacements

4. There is a center Line in the Pitch, ball has to be bowled after that center line, else it would be counted as a NO ball. ‘N’ number of bounces allowed after that center line, it will be counted as a valid ball. High height ball will be counted as Dead ball, but ball relaed and directly goes above the waist height will be couted as No ball. Umpires will take call of this.

5. Runs will be allowed only after the decided place during the match. Ball going directly out of the Nets will be counted as Out. Ball going above the Roof of 1st floor is OUT. Ball touching the Roof of 1st floor is not out. 

6. Any bowl if felt fast only the batsmen have to tell. And the bowl speed will be decided and discussed by the Umpires only and no one else

7. Every inning to be completed in stipulated time only.

8. Committee to be final judge of any situation

9. No free hit after No-ball

10. Bowling to be done within the box line only. Ball has to be bowled from the box. Full Leg going out of the front crease will be NO ball, but leg touching any of the other 3 lines will be No ball

11. There is no Fieled restriction for any players during the match, But,No player can stand on the downside before the Crease Line of Non Stricker’s end. 

13. Keeper should not collect the Ball before the Stumps. It will be counted as a NO Ball.

14. In case of a Match tie. A super over will be played between 2 teams. One Bowler and 3 batsmen needs to be announced by both teams before the start of the Super Over. Last Team done batting will Bat first in the Super Over. Only super over will decide match result if it’s a tie again. Two wickets are allowed for each batting team in the Super Over. If the batting team loses both wickets early, then their innings ends.

15. Stump fallen down by bowler either by hand or leg while bowling the ball will be marked as no ball.

16. Mankand is allowed. Any player getting out by Mankand will be declared as OUT

17. Scores by Umpires will be decalred only after every Over and not in between the Over

18. Any issues with any players needs to be discussed only with Umpires / Organizers. We will not enteratain any players directly misbehving with each other in case of any issues.

19. No runes for byes and Leg byes and Over throw.

20. LBW is Not Out

21. Rest all Rules starndard as per society daily rules. Any confucion Captains can discuss

Other Rules

1. It is duty of the team captain to assemble his team at the scheduled time. In case on the match day if any player cannot be on time, then that particular match will be played by short of that player and no replacement would be allowed. In case of any injuries to player during the match, there would be no replacement / Runner for the same.

2. New ball will be used for each inning of every matches. In case if a ball is lost in 1st over of the inning only then a new ball will be provided, after 1st over it will be replaced with a used ball of previous innings

Food and Water

1. Each Captain will be provided with food coupons and will be distributed by them to the team members as per their conveniency. 

2. Any guest coming to see the match and want to have food packet. They can pay Rupees 120 and get the food coupon. 

3. There will be Big size Bin bags made available on the Venue so as a disciplined member we will request to throw all sort of garbage only in those Bin Bags.

4. We will not Entertain any player if found Drunk / Intoxicated on the field. Committee members have full rights to disqualify that player if found guilty during the match.
