TOURNAMENT PLAYING CONDITIONS

All players taking part in knockout tournament agree to the rules and regulations outlined. Any player or team in breach of the rules, Spirit of cricket or the game to disrepute will be terminated from participating in the tournament.

1. Each team to register with an entry fee of RO.15/- on before 12th November 2022. 

2. Each team & the playing XI must be registered in Cric Heroes Application. 

3. Matches will consist of one innings per side with each innings being limited to 8 overs per side.  

4. Fixtures will be drawn with all Team captain’s presence on 21th of Nov 2022 (Monday) at 7.30 pm in Empire Restaurant, Duqm. 

5. First two overs will be power play and maximum three fielders will be allowed in outside circle.

6. Only Three bowlers can bowl maximum of 2 overs and rest of them can bowl maximum of 1 over.

7. Four players must be inside the circle at all time.

8. Illegal bowling action shall not be allowed; each illegal delivery declared as a NO ball. 

9. If the bowler or any players disturbs the wicket during the act of bowling, then the delivery will be declared as a NO ball.

10. All type of no ball shall be a free hit.

11. Wide, No-ball, Bye, Leg bye and over throw shall apply. (LBW shall not apply)

12. Maximum of 5 fielders including the bowler are allowed to the leg side of the batsman at any time.

13. One player can play in one team throughout the tournament. Before toss, team captain should provide a team XI List. 

14. The Committee reserves the right to choose umpires and balls.

15. Each innings of 8 overs shall have an allotted time of 30 minutes.

16. In the event that there is a tie, a “Super Over” will be played to decide the winner of the match. Each team shall nominate 3 batsman and 1 bowler to take part in the super over. If super over tied, Toss will determine the winning Team

17. If one team has arrived on time and the other team is delayed and fails to report on the ground before 15 minutes after the scheduled start, then this team will lose the match on an automatic forfeit.

18. All teams must wear their respective sportswear. 

19. All ICC cricketing rules are applicable, except LBW.
