Tournament Guidelines 

Tournament will be having 10 teams (with minimum of six player and maximum of eight players
in each teams).

  • Teams will be pooled in two groups with round robin matches and top two teams of each group will make it to the semi finals. (Each team will be getting at least 4 Matches)

  • Only registered players are allowed to participate in the matches.

  • If the points of two teams are equal then the decision will be made on Net Run Rate of each team, If NRR is also same then the winner of their group stage match will qualify for the semi finals.

  • Duration of a match will be 45 minutes long, no match break as teams for next match should be ready for toss 15 min before their match time. If any team fails to appear at their required time then opponent team will be given walkover without any delay.

  • Match will be played with Taped Cricket Tennis balls inside 45 Yard Boundary.

  • Spirit of the Game should be upheld by all players and umpires call will be final, any prolonged argument/protest/walkout during play time, would yield a walkover to the opposition based on decisions made by umpires and organizers.

  • Any Verbal/Physical assaults will be awarding 10 runs to the opposition (On field umpires call)

  • Team ranking will be based on Points won and Net run rate. Scoring will be done offline as well as in Cricheroes.

  • Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Man of the series and winning team will be rewarded with trophies.

  • Water will be provided at the Venue. Lunch will be provided on Sunday.

Game Rules

The Laws of Cricket apply, except:

1. Games are played between two teams of six players, pool games consists of a maximum of four overs bowled by each side and semi
final and final will be five overs.

2. Each bowler can bowl maximum of one over per Innings.

3. Walkover will be given against any team who will not be available on the slotted match time.

4. Wides and no-balls count as one runs. Batsman can take score for all permitted extras (Bye, Leg-bye, Overthrow etc).

5. LBW does not apply.

6. If five wickets fall before 4 overs are completed, the last remaining batsman bats on with the fifth batsman acting as a runner. He always takes strike. The innings is complete when the sixth wicket falls.

7. Batsmen retire not out on reaching 31 runs. The idea being to reach 36 runs by hitting 6 sixes. A retired batsman can return to the crease after lower-order batsmen either retire or are out.
Voluntary Retirement without reaching 31 runs in the middle of the innings will be considered OUT.

8. A tournament points system awards two points for each match won. In case of a tie Super Over will determine the Winner.

9. Umpires Decision will be final, for any other issue technical committee will take the final decision.
