Tournament rules for State IMA tournament:
Short format cricket tournament for doctors.
So only doctors register to IMA can participate.
Zonal winners and runners can participate from each zone.
Players requested to bring own kits, kits won’t be provided by organiser.
Dress code colour jersey and colour pant.
15 overs, white leather cricket ball match for league stage.
20 overs for finals.
Overs stated is provisional.
Overs can be changed according to start time and weather conditions.
We have a turf wicket and mat wicket. League matches will be played both in turf and mat wicket.
Ground allotment for matches is organiser discretion.
Number of match in turf wicket will vary for teams, please cooperate.
Finals will be T 20 match in turf wicket.
Depending upon the weather, there can be over reduction and ground change.
India cements don’t allow us to play in turf wicket if there is rain just before or on the day of match.
Change of date is not possible.
Advised to wear helmet and all protective gears.
All T 20 rules applicable.
Number of overs field restrictions will be determined by umpire depending upon the number of overs match.
One end batting.
Batsman have to change at end of overs.
After 7 overs bowling end will be changed.
All other cricketing rules followed including no ball and free hit.
Two qualified umpires will be officiating the
matches.
Umpires decision are final in on field matters.
During match time water, drinks, snacks will be provided and a working lunch on Saturday.
For each innings a new white cricket ball will be used.
There will be a break after ten overs in all matches.
Travel and stay is not arranged by organising team. It’s the responsibility of participating teams.
Every match should start in time.
For every delayed start overs will be reduced.
If any team arrives half an hour late from scheduled time, organisers reserve the right to disqualify the team.
Matches will be played in the true sprit of game.
Medical support will be provided but no responsibility for organising team for injuries sustained on field.
Each team can have 14 members squad.
Super substitute rule is there for the tournament.
One player can bat. Another can field and bowl.
There will be two pools A and B consisting of 3 teams each.
Pool topper will play final match.
If there is equal win team with best run rate qualifies for final.
I have tried to give at least one turf match for participating team.
Some teams will have to play back to back match.

All the matches will be played at India cements turf wicket and Shanker polytechnic mat wicket. Tirunelveli.
We humbly request all to maintain decorum as we use India cements facilities and not ours.
Smoking, consuming alcohol prohibited during match time and match premises.
Organising committee reserve the right to change the rules without any notice if the need arises.
