Tournament Format

There will be 12 teams participating in the Tournament, matches scheduled as per Walvoil league format.

Winning Team from each stage will proceed for further rounds based Walvoil tournament league format.

All matches will be played on Sunday's and Matches has to start from 7:30 am and ends with 6:00 pm.

League format all matches except Final will be of 8 Overs and Final match will be 10 Overs.

Semi-Finals and Final will be played on same date.

All Teams are expected to respect the Tournament rules and adhere to the Tournament set-up.

Rules & Regulations

League Matches bowler can bowl overs maximum (3-2-2-1) format & Finals (3-3-2-2).

All No-balls will be free hit. Front foot, full toss above hip height & bouncer above shoulder, illegal bowling action & violating fielding restrictions will be a No-Ball.

Runs accounted for Wides, No-balls and Over throws.

There will be no LBW, Byes & Leg-Byes.

Umpire’s Decision will be Final.

In case of any dispute or conflict, only captains will be allowed to speak with the umpires who in-turn can consult Organizing Committee if required.

Wicket keeper can come to bowl directly after an over ends.

Online Scoring will be done in Cricheros app.

Please note that once a team member has been named as part of one team, he will NOT be allowed to play for another team in the tournament.

All players from both teams should be present 15 minutes before scheduled start time. Toss should be done 5 minutes before scheduled start time.

The list of playing XI must be finalized before the toss by both team captains.

Vicky Tennis balls will be used for all day matches.

One New ball will be provided for each Innings of the match & will be changed only upon damage to the Play beyond playing condition which will be decided mutually among Captains/Umpires.

In case of Tie during matches, there will be One Super over until the clear result.

A substitute player will not be allowed to Bat/Bowl. A substitute fielder will be allowed for only initial 3 overs, if the player not reach by that time then the team have to play with lesser players, Substitute fielders can only field at any time during the match.

Request all players to play fair under all circumstances.

Captains are responsible to avoid any mis-behaviour on the field such as abuse a player, umpire or indulge any activities that may cause unnecessary problems.
