SSL RULES:

• Total 5 wickets.

• Retired hurt players are to be treated as wicket but not out and can come in the last.

• Leg no-ball (over stepping) has free hit. Full toss and bouncer no-balls do not have free hits.

• Byes are allowed. No Leg Byes.

• No LBW

• Max 2 overs for two bowlers only.

• 6 players on the ground at anytime.

• Minimum one fielder on either side. Bowler and keeper are not termed as fielders.

• Full toss above waist is a no ball. Leg umpire should call this. Main umpire cannot.

• Bouncer above head is a wide.

• No first bouncer warning. Because if the ball is not above head then it’s a valid ball.

• If Batsman touches the above head bouncer, then it’s a valid ball.

• No warning of any rule breaks, umpire can withhold any penalty of rule breaks on the first event. (Ex: Mankading, field restrictions, above head bouncer etc., )

• Umpires call is final.

• If a new scenario comes up, then the Organizer will take the call on the output of it. And it will be the final decision.

SuperSub:

• Flexible option.

• Can be used for only bowling or only for batting.

SuperOver:

• Continues until there is an output.

• Two wickets only. All other rules apply.

Late/No Show:

• Minimum 5 players must be on the ground at the time of the match from each side.

• Match will not be started without the minimum players.

• Team with no minimum players loses 1 over for first 10 mins delay (batting or bowling).

• Match will be forfeited after 15 mins delay. Other team will be announced winners.

• If both teams have no minimum players then match will be termed drawn. No points given.

• All games must be completed with in the stipulated time of 45min and a maximum of 1hour. Delays will have 1 point penalty per team (whichever team takes more than 30mins for bowling) Bowling team is responsible for starting the game on time and complete the innings on time. We will calculate the timings from the scoring app.
