RULES
1) The tournament will be conducted in league knockout format.
2) Player mentioned in one squad cannot be added in another squad.
3) Apart from the players mentioned in the squad, no one will be allowed (even if it is only for fielding or keeping).
4) Each innings will be for 5 overs. Bowling limit will be one over per bowler.
5) Byes and leg byes are not applicable.
6) Umpire/Scorer decision will be final. If players start arguing with the umpires/scorers, the respective team/teams will be disqualified immediately. If situation arises where clarity is required on any matter, only the respective team captain can approach the umpires/scorer and seek clarity in a respectable manner.
7) Once playing 11 are updated on Cricheros app, the teams are bound to play using the same players. In exceptional cases, organizer can allow teams to have a maximum of two substitutes for fielding (these players must be part of the 15 member squad). These substitutes can field for a maximum of two overs. If they continue to stay on field post these two overs, the delivery bowled will be declared as "No Ball" thereafter.
8) "No Ball" will be declared for the following violations:
a. Over stepping.
b. Stepping on side line/back line.
c. If the delivery bounces over shoulder of the batsman.
d. Other violations (above waist delivery, fielder outside boundary, etc)
9) Over throws are applicable.
10) Mankad is not applicable.
11) Free hit is not applicable for any kind of "No Ball".
12) "Boundary Out" is applicable even on "No Ball".
13) First over will be mandatory powerplay. Maximum number of fielders allowed inside will be 8 (including bowler and wicket keeper).
14) If any team conducts in a manner which disturbs the cheerful environment of the tournament, organizer can immediately disqualify them from the tournament.
15) If any player is found to be drunk during the tournament, he will not be allowed to play. The respective player/team might get disqualified from the tournament.
16) Any kind of unruly behavior towards other players/umpires/scorers/organizers will be dealt very strongly. The respective player/team might get disqualified from the tournament.
17) Apart from these, all regular cricket rules are applicable.
18) Man of the match, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Man of the series will be awarded for the eligible players.
19) Winners and Runners will be awarded trophies along with individual medals for the complete squad.
20) Cricheros app will be used as reference for calculation of NRR and other parameters.
21) Organizers has the right to change, remove or add any rule which he finds appropriate at any point in time.
22) Teams must report atleast 30 mins before their match. Toss will be conducted 15 mins before the next match.
23) Organizers will wait for a maximum of 10 mins post match time. If one of the teams do not turn up, the opposite team will be declared as winner. If both teams do not turn up, the points will be split between them.
24) Kindly ensure that the game is played in right sportsmanship spirit.
25) In case of any unforseen circumstances, the organizer can reschedule the tournament to the next available date.
