YICL 2022 rules 
 
1. Team should consist of 10 players, any 8 to bat and any 8 to field/bowl.
2. No division players allowed either 1st or 2nd in any team. Player should have a cooling period of 2 years since the time he has played. This year and last year.
3. Any player being change from the playing 10 in case of emergency or injury before the start of the match shall be upon the organisers to allow or not to allow the change. 
4. All team must submit their final team list a day before the start of the tournament. Of the playing 10.
5. Before the start of any match the team shall submit the batting 8 and bowling 8. 
6. No player shall be allowed to play in any of the matches after the Leauge stage if the player has not played a minimum of 1 Leauge game. 
7. Umpire decision will be final and no protest or argument will be tolerated in the middle of the match. 
8. Teams have to report 30minutes prior to the start time of the match. Since we are running on tight schedule, any team not reporting on time shall be penalised by over being cut from their batting. Every 5 minutes 1 over shall be cut. 
9. Matches to be of 8 over a side. Batting Will be done in pairs of 2. 2*4 pairs. 
10. Bowling - maximum of 2 overs per bowler to be allowed. 
11. Fielding - wicketkeeper to be mandatory. 2 players before the white line protecting 1 run. 2 players from the start of 2 runs till the popping crease, and 2 players guarding the boundary not crossing the popping crease. 
12. Any catch being taken without touching the net will only be considered as a clean catch on the 6 side. Basically if a catch is popped on the boundary and a player catches the ball and touches the boundary net, this will be considered and not out and 6 runs will be awarded to the batting side. Same will be the case for a boundary. If the fielder catches the ball while in contact with the net if will result in the batting side being awarded 4 runs. These rules do not apply in the case of any other net apart of boundary.
13. In case of a wicket falling -5 shall be deducted from the batting side. 
14. In case of a wide -5 shall be added to the score. 
15. In case of a no ball - 5 shall be added to the score.
16. There will be no running allowed if no shot is offered.
17. There will be no running allowed when the ball is mentioned as a wide ball. 
18. Match gets over if the team chasing crosses 10 runs more than the winning run. It is applicable in the case if balls are left before the match ends.
