Thank-you Participants for joining in for our first Charity Playground, a charity Cricket Tournament.
Here are some rules for the tournament:
- The tournament will be in the league and knockout format.
- The league matches will be of six overs and the semifinal and final will be of eight overs.
- The bowling speed will be medium, there can be a two-step run-up and the bowling must be done from the white box on the ground.
- One bowler can bowl only 1 over in a 6 over match and maximum 2 overs in a 8 over match .
- There will be a magical over predetermined by the batting team and the runs in that over will be counted twice.
- The scoring will be done on an online app that will be shared soon.
- if the ball touches the top net and the bowling team player catches it with one hand it will be considered out. (One tip caught off the ground will not be considered as out)
- Batsmen can take a run after touching the ball.
- Fours and sixes will only be considered for the front net.
- Lastly, the umpire’s decision will be the last.
