Other Details

Below are the revised Rules and Regulations for playing the matches:

1. Number of teams: 11 (Meadows -5, Aangan and Waterlily - 2, 1 each of Elysium & North Park).
2. Matches will be played in a format Cluster Vs Cluster (As per Schedule shared with this notification)
3. Teams & players will be decided based on Fishbowl Activity.
4. For Kids, Teams will be made of both Male & Female player.
5. Tournament will be played with Hard Tennis Ball (Green Color)
6. Each team will have 11 to 15 players maximum for Team Males and 11 to 17 maximum Players for Team Kids and Females. If any team is unable to manage their total players 15 mins prior to the match, Then the umpires & the management committee will be authorized to take necessary decision.
7. All the matches will be played for 15 overs each side. And Finals will be played for 20 overs each side.
8. Each Bowler can bowl up to 4 overs max for all the matches prior to finals and in Finals each bowler will be allowed to bowl up to 05 overs. LBW dismissal & under arm bowling   is not allowed.
9. Bounce ball & Beamer will be considered as ‘NO Ball’.
10. Power Plays will be there in all the matches in this tournament.
11. League match (15 Over) - Power play rule will be for first 4 overs which is mandatory. Maximum 2 Fielders can be kept outside 30-yard circle during Power Play.
12. Final Match (20 Over) - Power play rule will be for first 6 overs which is mandatory. Maximum 2 Fielders can be kept outside 30-yard circle during Power Play.
13. There is no restriction on the field placing after power play. However, at any given time, minimum 4 players other than the bowler and wicket keeper should be in 30-yard circle.
14. In case of tie / Draw, match will be decided in ‘SUPER OVER’ format.
15. There will be prizes for MAN OF THE MATCH, BEST BOWLER OF THE TOURNAMENT, BEST BATSMAN OF THE TOURNAMENT and MAN OF THE SERIES.
16. Decisions by the umpires on the field of play are final. Any player showing unreasonable dissent in the opinion of the umpires/match referee shall be disqualified from further play in the tournament following due and fair warning from the said officials. The organizing Committee will take an appropriate action/penalty of his actions.
17. Rest all rules are as per the current cricket practice. Keeper & Batsman are permitted to wear inner Gloves.
18. Complimentary Tea / Coffee & Snacks for all players for all days.
19. Dress Code – T-shirt, Track & Sports Shoes to be arranged by the individual members
20. Bats, Stumps & Balls will be provided by the organizers.
21. All players should wear sports shoes with proper grip as the ground may become slippery because of dew. Shoes with spikes are not allowed.
22. Organizing Committee will provide bats to the teams for batting before the respective matches start. All teams are requested to return the bats to the Organizing Committee after their batting innings complete.
23. The Pitch distance between stumps will be approx. 21 yards and the distance from pitch to boundary will be approx. 50 meters. (Boundary distance from pitch will be decreased by the match officials for Women and Children matches)
24. Teams are requested to designate 1 substitute player (12th Player) to assist with scorer and commentator during the match.
25. Any bowler caught "chucking" during an over will be warned once and the captain will be notified. If the incident occurs again, his over will be terminated. Another bowler of the team can continue the over provided his stipulated number of overs have not been completed. The terminated bowler will not be allowed to bowl further in the tournament.
26. Umpires may allow a maximum of one drink break per inning.
27. A neutral person called Scorer, who not belonging to the playing team shall be responsible for Scoring i.e., recording the match scores and results. ‘Scorer’ appointed by the Organizing Committee are authorized to keep and maintain the scores during the match. Scores will be updated in Crichero’s Mobile App

am will be considered as provided in Crichero’s App. Based on that the team rankings will be decided.
29. Any changes will be communicated to the captains on the day of the match.
30. In case of bad weather, delays, or any other reason affecting the conducting of the tournament, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to decide the manner in which the tournament should be conducted.
31. Every participant should follow the rules and regulations of appropriate conduct on the field. The tournament is organized to have fun and to sigh a bit of relief during the weekends. So, we expect to see a sense of friendship and sportsmanship. Sledging is strictly prohibited. But the difference between encouraging one’s own teammate and sledging can sometimes get unclear. Under such circumstances, the umpire will have the say in deciding what a tolerable limit is. If the umpires find things exceeding the limit, they might recommend expulsion of player(s) or disqualification of the team(s). The final decision will lie with the organizing committee. 32. Unruly and un-sportsman like behavior will not be tolerated. We strongly discourage any physical or verbal (direct or implied) attack by a player(s) against: A) the umpire B) other cricketers C) organizing committee members D) the stumps, ball or other cricket gear E) spectators. A player involved in the same will be suspended for 1 or more matches, and the team will not be allowed to field a substitute in his place. If the player refuses to leave the field, the team will be penalized with disqualification for that match.
33. Only playing batsmen are allowed to raise any concern about conspicuous bowling action of any bowler. Anybody else from bating team or fielding team or others cannot complain regarding the same.
34. Mobile phones are strictly not permitted on field. Alcohol, Tobacco, smoking, spitting etc are not permitted on the stadium.
35. Non-compliance to any of the above rules may result in the suspension or disqualification of player(s) and/or entire team(s) from the tournament.
36. The organizing committee reserves the right to change any match/tournament rules prior to the start of the match, and their decision shall be final in all aspects of the tournament.
37. Any Changes in the schedule will be officially published.
38. All participants are urged to carefully read all rules prior to the start of their respective matches.
