RULES AND REGULATIONS 16-OVERS GAME 


NOTE: ONLY A SQUAD OF 16 MEMBERS WILL BE ALLOWED. ONE CHANGE WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE LEAGUE STAGE PROVIDED THERE IS A VALID REASON.

1. A player who has played in one team is not allowed to play in another team throughout the tournament.
2. Match start time is 6:30 AM. In case of delay in the start of the match due to late arrival of teams: (No discretion will be accepted in this regard)
A Delay for more than 20 minutes, 2 over will be reduced for the late team.
A Delay for more than 30 minutes, 3 overs will be reduced for the late team.
Delay beyond 60 minutes, match will be awarded to the opposition team.
3. 7 players are required from a team to start the match. Failure to do so would yield a 2 over deduction penalty. Remaining players must arrive within 6 overs.
4. On-field umpires’ decision would be the final one.
5. If any team walks out of the ground on protest during the playtime, would yield a walkover to the opposition team based on the decision by umpires and organizers.
6. For every win, a team would get 2 points and losing team won’t get any points.
7. In case of a tie in the league stages each team would get 1 point each.
8. In knockout matches if a tie happens, Super over decides the winner.
9. In league stages if two teams are tied with the same points, NRR would be taken into account and the team with a better NRR would move to the knockout stage.
10. In case of no game due to rain or any unseen circumstances, each team would be awarded 1 point. However, there would be a reserve day for knockout matches. 
11. Playing 11 should be submitted by both captains to each other before the start of the match.
12. One bouncer is allowed per over, provided the ball passes between the shoulder and the head. However, ball passing over the head will be declared as a wide. Another bouncer in the same over is deemed as a No-ball even if the batter played it. 
13. If the first bouncer is above head height and batter gets out or scores runs, then it’s considered as first bouncer and it’s a legal delivery. Also, batter would be declared out or scored runs would be counted respectively.
14. Free hit is allowed for all type of No-balls.
15. No fielder is allowed to replace a playing 11 player unless God forbit, there's an on-field injury. However, if a team has a shortage of players, substitute fielding can be permitted. 
16. in case of a run-out or caught out, the new batter will take strike. 
17. In matters of doubts not covered by the tournament rules, the decision of the tournament committee will be final and binding upon all concerned as per the standard rules.
