General Rules for Konkan yuva Cricket Tournament-2022
1. 8 players in one team and 2 substitute (One Male & One Female)
2. Each League match will be of 4 overs. (20 Yards Mat pitch)
3. 32 Teams, 8 Pools (Each Pool will have 4 Teams)
4. One team from Each Pool will qualify for Quarter Finals
5. Each team will have to play 3 matches in Pool Stage. (League Matches)
6. One bowler can bowl 1 Over only and first over should be ladies.
7. 3
rd Down batsman & Opening Strike batsman should be Lady
8. If the batsman caught out then new batsman will take on strike.
9. Batting team can score 6 runs outside the circle between the poles on the field.
10. Batsman should run between wickets outside the mat.
11. Bowler has to ball within the given box i.e bowling crease.
12. All underarm actions are allowed. If the bowler bowls throw, then it must be below the knee level of the
batsman, or else it will be No ball
13. Full ball above the waist is called no ball will be counted and 2 runs except last over
14. If the bowler bowls outside the pitch is called No Ball and rewarded 2 runs.
15. Wide and No ball will be counted and considered 2 runs except last over
16. LBW and Free Hit rule is not applicable in this Tournament.
17. Outside the wide line only called as wide for both sides.
18. No ball (2Runs) Wide ball(2Runs), Byes and Overthrow will be applicable.
19. Ball going directly over the provided line of the Circle will be out if it doesn’t bounce inside the circle and if it
is a No ball then it’s awarded as boundary plus 2 runs.
20. Quarter finals teams will be qualified on point basis and if the 2 teams are equal then run rate basis.
21. Except League matches, the match is tied, then there will be Super Over (1 Over Match-No Restrictions on
batting and bowling)
22. Any bat can use
23. One match only one new ball will be given for both teams.
24. If the ball damaged used ball will be replaced
25. At least 2 of the team players should have mobile data.
26. Submission of final list (Reg Form) of the players by 16.04.2020
27. All teams should update their players details in cricheros App by 17.04.2022
28. Score card will be updated live on the same app
29. Valid Emirates ID original/copy is must
30.There will be Man of the Match (Except league Matches)
31. All Teams should report by 7.45am
32. Umpire’s decision will be binding and final. No argument will be entertained with the umpire
33. Kindly respect the timing to finish match within 30 minutes. (Each team 15 Minutes)
34. Players should be Roman Catholic Only.
35. Winners will be awarded with Trophy and Cash Prizes (1st & 2nd)
36. Lots will be held on Tuesday 19th April 2022 at 8pm Via Zoom (Rules will be explained)
37. For Lots and toss only captains or vice captains are allowed.
38. For any misunderstanding only captains are allowed to approach referee or organizing committee.
39. For any doubts with opposite team, Captain should clear before the toss.
40. Ask clarifying questions if you don’t understand before the match start.
41. All Players need to follow the rules and regulations of the covid during the game
42. Executive committee of Konkan Yuva holds the rights to change of rules.
43. Parking is allocated in front of Sharjah Wonderers Club (Behind Sharjah Central)
44. Respect others parking and park in appropriate manner. (Don’t block the way)
45. Demonstrate mutual respect, no negative criticism
46. If you disagree propose a solution, Have Fun and Use Humor
47. Kindly Follow the rules and guidelines of the Venue management in security check.
48. Outside food strictly not allowed in the Venue and respect the fasting people outside the venue.
49. Enjoy the Mangalorean cuisines with chilled drinks at the venue.
50. Families and children can enjoy with fancy fate games.
