RULES AND REGULATIONS OF INTER-CLUB CRICKET TOURNAMENT – 2019

1. The Tournament is open to members and their sons.
2. Playing members/temporary members/ honorary members will not be allowed to play. In case any team deviates from this rule, the said team will be disqualify from this tournament as well as for the next year 2020 tournament.
3. Player who represented State in Ranji Trophy or under 19/under 22, or any other tournaments at State level as well as all District level tournaments, IPL, Railways, Airline during last 2 years will not be permitted to play. (Cut of date 01/01/2017)
4. Only the members, who have made full payment towards their membership, will be allowed to play this tournament. Members who are on the payment plan or who have payment pending towards their membership will be considered as Temporary members and will no be able to take part in this tournament. Participating clubs are requests to take a serious not of this.
5. Every team/ players must report on the ground 30 minutes before the time of commencement of the match. If all players are not present, then a team will need minimum of 7 players to play the match.
6. A member must hold a year old membership to participate in this tournament. This rule is applicable to the private clubs only. (Cut of date 1/1/2018)
7. No player will be allowed to represent more than one team.
8. If player remains absent, nobody can play in his place and the team will have to play as Short of one player.
9. Sports shoes and trousers (short or ¾ pants not allowed) are mandatory for the players during the match.
10. All matches will be played on “League” basis as per international rules of T-20 Cricket match.
11. 5 players of the fielding team including wicket keeper must be inside the circle throughout the innings.
12. Power play/ retired/ Over
- All league matches with Semi Final will be of 16 overs a side; 
- A batsman will retired after scoring 40 runs. 
- A minimum of 4 bowlers will bowl 3 overs each and 1 bowler will bowl 4 overs. 
- The first 4 overs in each inning will be compulsory power plays. In addition, a power play of two consecutive overs will be at the discretion of batting side. 
- The Final will be of 20 overs a side-1 batsman will retired after scoring 50 runs. 
- Minimum of 5 bowlers will bowl 4 overs each. 
- The first 6 overs of inning will be compulsory power play in addition, a power play of two more overs will be at the discretion of batting side

Note: In the event of all batsman are out, the retiring batsman can re-join.

13. If the match is tied, super over will be bowled in all matches. Winning team will be awarded 2 points per match.
14. In case more then one team has equal points to qualify. The net run rate will be considered for the qualification of semifinal match.
15. In case more than on team has equal points to qualify, the net run rate will be considered for the qualification.
16. Chucking the ball during bowling is not allowed. If observed , decision of the umpires will prevail.
17. Misbehaviour of any nature on the ground by the players will result in direct suspension for 3 years.
18. Playing rules will be explained by the umpire to each team before 30 minutes on the playing day.
19. The decision of the Tournament committee will be final & binding in all respects.
