RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. League match inning consists [/size]of 14 overs and every bowler can bowl a maximum of 4 overs, (min 5 bowlers) semis will be for 20 overs and every bowler can bowl max of 4 overs (min 5 bowlers) and final for 25 overs with maximum of 5 overs (min 5 bowlers) respectively,
2. (Power Play) During league matches the first 2 overs, semis first 3 overs and final first 4 overs will be compulsory power play, a maximum of 3 fielders can be outside the 30 yard circle. After the power play, a minimum of 6 fielders should be inside the fielding circle. (1 slip fielder is compulsory )
3. Batting power play can be taken after 50% of the total overs and that will be for 2 overs in league , 3 overs in semis and 3 overs in final.(same rules for fielding arrangement as given above) respectively,
4. At any stage if batsman hits 30 runs during the innings he has to return to pavilion and he can resume declared inning after 8th wicket down,(minimum gap of 2 wickets) After 40 runs in semis and after 50 runs in final.
5. In case of more than one declared inning , captain has right to choose.
6. Only 5 fielders can field on one side(leg or Off) at any point of time (bowler & keeper are not considered as a fielder in this regard)
7. Byes and over throws are applicable in this tournament. But LBW is not applicable so no leg byes runs.
8. No ball and Wide will be penalized according to tennis ball cricket rules. One run and an extra ball will be awarded for a no ball and a wide ball. There is free hit for any kind of no ball.
9. Second bouncer ball will be considered as no ball.
10. After 50% of the total overs fielding team has to replace all substitute players for fielding. (it is compulsory), Replaced players can field only, they cannot bowl.
11. Umpires reserve every right to declare a no ball with or without warning, if any bowler delivers under arm or throw ball.
12. No bowler can bowl immediately after coming off the field after substitution. He will be fit only after taking the field for next two overs.
13. Transfer of players between teams is not allowed.
14. The captain will be the interacting person with umpires on field.
15. Teams should report 30 minutes before the start of the play.
16. At least 9 players must be present at the time of the toss and it will be held 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. If any team fails to reach in scheduled time, the toss will go in favour of the opposite team and delay beyond 10 minits to be penalised at 1 over for every 5 minutes or part of it and delay of more than 30 minutes will results in walkover in favour of opposite team.
17. After the toss, the fielding team should set the fielding positions immediately to avoid any delay to begin the match. Batsman will come to the crease only after the field arrangement.
18. Teams are advised to avoid any unnecessary delay before or during the game to maintain our time schedule.
19. Organizing committee will reserve full authority to intervene in such case off field and umpires will have full authority to intervene in field.
20. Substitute runners are not allowed for everyone. Only 45+ age batsman can get runner after 18 balls on the pitch in league matches,24 balls in semis and 30 balls in finals respectively.
21. A new (Hard tennis ball) ball will be provided for each innings. In case of loss or damaged ball, umpire will replace the old ball with used ball.
22. Umpire's decisions will be final throughout the tournament. We don’t want any kind of misbehaviour during the match.
23. All team members are requested to wear appropriate dress code.
24. If any match ends in tie, the winner will be adjudged by “super over”
