Sikhwal premier league Basic rules:-*

1) The Venue is  Saraswathi Cricket Ground, Gundlapochampalli Village Rd, Laxmi Nagar Colony, Gundlapochampalli, Hyderabad, Telangana 500100. Every player should be present at the Venue by 7:30pm ( 2nd April 2022, Saturday)

2) Dress code will apply- 

T-Shirt, trek pant and Shoes are compulsory for all players during the match.

3) Format:- The Tournament will have 6 teams divided into 2 groups (Group A-3 teams, Group B-3 teams). Each team having 11-13 players in their squad. In case of any team having less than 11 players, the opposition team captain's consent will be required for substitute fielders only.( Subs will not bat or bowl but only field). 

5) No player will be allowed to join any team after the 1st ball is bowled, Also no player can play for 2 different teams.

6) The tournament will be 

 with Hard Tennis ball, where each team will be playing 2matches with other two teams of the same group.

 

7) Every league match will be of 10- 10 overs. each innings- to be finished by each team by bowling their respective 10 overs within the stipulated 40 mins. Hence every match will take approx 90mins to complete.

8) There will be totally 6 round robin league matches. At the end of the round robin, the top team from each group will play the final match.( NRR will be used if needed to determine the group topper)

9) For every match result Winning team will get  2 points. In case of a tie result be decided using Super Over. If super over is tied, we will have another super over.(Icc super over rules will apply)

10) Batting- There will be no LBW, no Mankading run out or No ball Free hits in this tournament.

But Leg byes, byes and over throw runs are allowed.

11) Wicket keepers will be allowed to bowl.

*NO POWER PLAY, BUT FIELD RESTRICTIONS WILL BE APPLICABLE ( INSIDE THE CIRCLE MANDATORY 4 FIELDERS)* 

12) Each bowler to bowl max 2 ovrs in 10overs match, 

Minimum 5 bowler must be used in every bowling innings.

13) Bowling- Above shoulder bouncing ball will be called wide. The bowler is required to have a proper bowling action. No chuking or Throw downs or baby overs will be allowed ( unless injured).

14) The onfield  Umpire's decision will be final and binding on all parties, 

 In case of any controversy arising during the match, 

the 6 team captains will mutually decide the solution.

15) No player will be allowed to use abusive language or resort to sledging during the game. Resentment towards Umpire decisions will also be penalised.

16) Finally, This is a Sikhwal Brotherhood tournament and the Spirit of Cricket should be upheld by everyone participating member.
