RULES

1. Match timings : 8.30 to 5pm (Saturday – 19th Jan & 02nd Feb, 2019 ). All players to be present.
2. Groups/Teams : 08 Teams [ divided into 2 groups (A & B) of 4 teams each ]
3. Each Team plays 3 matches - to qualify for Semi finals.
4. Each winning team will secure TWO POINTS
5. Maximum 14 players in each team (11 on field + 3 extra players)
6. No change of players allowed
7. Eight overs per match for League matches
Ten overs for Semi finals & Finals.
8. 2 overs per bowler / match.
9. Free hit on NO BALL.
10. No runners allowed
11. Umpires decision is final
12. No LBW decisions
( Rest, all the rules of International cricket will be applied i.e Byes,Overthrows etc )
13. For Bonus Point : Team Batting second will have to chase the Target in 5 Overs who
will get 1 Point extra & team Bowling 2nd will have to restrict the Opposition under 60% of
the Total target.
( eg. If Team Batting first scores hundred,then team bowling 2nd will have to restrict
them under 60 runs to gain a bonus Point )
14. In case of a Tie, there will be a Super Over ( Total no. of wickets allowed 2 )
15. In case of Tie in Points i.e If each team has gained equal points in the same group
then Net run rate will be applied i.e Team who has the better run rate will go to Semis.

16. Cricket Kit* and gloves for the keeper will be provided by the company. ( You can bring
your Personal Kit if required, pads not allowed )
*Kit = Bat, Ball & Stumps
17. Batsman are not allowed to use Gloves as it is Tennis Cricket.
18. Retired hurt Rule :
- Batsman : can bat again after 5 wickets are down post his batting OR he can go last.
- Bowler / Fielder : can not bowl further overs.
- CAPTAINS would be deciding whether the player is to be retired or no.
19. CAPTAINS TO TAKE CARE – ONLY FIT PLAYERS SHOULD PLAY TO AVAOID
UNWANTED HEALTH ISSUES.
20. For any exceptions other than the above rules, NCL Committee will be the final
decision maker.
21. No Music, DJ, Banners allowed at the ground as per High Court rules.

Special Rules:
i. Overarm matches (Boys) &
Underarm for ladies (pitch length: 10 yards)
ii. 8 overs match for league matches (boys) & 7 overs for ladies’ match
10 overs for Semi-finals, Finals.
iii. 2 overs maximum per bowler
