Rules and Regulations: 

The umpire’s decision would be final. 

In case of a wrong decision, if the umpires wish to consult each other, the decision can be over turned only if both the umpires agree to do so. 

Squad Size: 9 3 optional. Maximum 9 players on the field, including the WK and Bowler. Maximum Squad size for a team, 12 players.  

4 overs per innings, with 4 bowlers for League stage. 

5 overs per innings, with 5 bowlers for all knock-out matches.

Maximum of 3 fielders can be stationed on the boundary, maximum 5 fielders behind the bowling crease.

One Bowler can bowl maximum one over in match. 

A batsman cannot be retired hurt unless he is in no state to take further part in the game.

Only the two captains can question the umpires in case of a wrong decision being taken.

If any team fails to report on time for the match, the opposition team gets a walkover, 2 points with an effective net run rate of 2 (minus 2 for the losing side). Net run rate /- 2: Winning team’s score would be considered as 40 off 5 overs and the losing side’s 30 runs off 5 overs. 

No- Ball – 

Direct ball above the waist is a no-ball.

One bounce above the chest is a no-ball.

Irrespective of how high the ball is, if at the time of contact the batsman is out of the crease, it won’t be a no-ball.

If the ball lands directly behind the stumps, it would be a no-ball.

If the bowler steps on/touches the bowling crease, it would be a no-ball.

If a direct ball above the waist level is left alone, and hits the stumps, the batsman would be declared out and it won’t be a no-ball.

The only way the batsman can be dismissed of a no-ball and/or a FREE-HIT is run out and stumping. 

Any no-ball would result into a FREE-HIT for the batting side unless it’s the last ball of the over and the batter is dismissed, run out or stumped. Free hit won’t be carried forward into the next over.

Tournament Format - 

Round Robin in the league stage.

After the group stage, only top team from each group advances to the Knock-out stage.

In case of a tie, there would be a super over to decide the winner. Super Over continues till we have a winner.

2 Points for a win, 0 for a loss and 1 in case of a tie/no result. 

If the teams are tied on points, net run rate would be considered to determine the table standings. 

Super Over Rules -

The team chasing, bats first in the super over.

Before the start of the super over, both the captains should submit the names of the three batsmen and the bowler who shall bowl the super over.
