BASIC RULES

Kai-Ru Wedding WoW BOX NIGHT CRICKET TOURNAMENT FOR ALL (M F K)

Rules of the tournament

1. Each team shall include 9/10 players.

2. There will be 7 overs played per innings. The same may be reduced due

to unforeseen circumstances like weather, dew, bad light etc. However

minimum number of overs cannot be less than 1.

3. Every match shall be completed in 45 minutes (i.e 20 minutes per

innings.)

4. Only Invited members are eligible for participation in this tournament.

If a team is found to include any player who is a uninvited then that team

shall be disqualified.

5. All matches will be night match. Matches will be between 4PM to 9PM

Night. The schedule will be prepared by picking of chits.

6. Scoring will be done manually/ CricHeroes Scoreboard.

7. Each team can have one substitute.

8. Two players can bowl two over maximum and rest can bowl one over each.

9. Fast bowling is not allowed. (SPEED TO BE JUDGED BY THE BATSMAN & CAN GIVE INFORMATION TO UMPIRE TO DECIDE) (WARNING MAY BE GIVEN.)

10. Fast ball can be declared as no ball by the umpire.

11. No bouncer will be allowed in any match and it will be considered as

a Wide ball / No ball as per the call of umpire.

12. To add more fun, The last ball of each over is considered Power Ball,

The runs scored in it will be doubled & Wicket taken in it results in -5 runs for

Batting team.

13. Abusive words are strictly not allowed. All needs to maintain the

decorum of the game or the team might be disqualified.

14. Umpire decision will be final decision. No arguments will be

tolerated against the umpire.

15. The rival team shall be declared winner if the team does not reach

15 mins prior to the scheduled time of their allotted match. No excuses

will be tolerated for being late.

16. No balls will be given free hit as per the decision of umpires & both Wide Ball & No Ball

Add up 1 runs extra for batting team.

17. For any field disputes, the decision taken by the field umpires will

be final.

18. In case of tie, winner shall be declared on the basis of super over

which will be a regular over.

19. Various prizes like man of the match, man of the series, best

batsman and best bowler of the tournament will be given.

20. All decisions of the committee of the tournament shall be final and

binding on all the participating members.

21. The committee reserves the right to amend the rules at any point of

time before/during the tournament in the spirit of the tournament.
