LEAGUE MATCH

(RULES AND REGULATION)

1. Gathering time is 6.45 AM (for Day League Matches) or 5.30 PM (for Night League Matches). The first ball shall be bowled at 7.00 AM or 6.00 PM respectively.

2. League matches sequence shall be as per draw on ground and mandatory for all captain’s and playing team members to be present on ground, in case fails to abide, 5 runs shall be deducted from the team score.

3. All league matches shall be played with 11 PLAYERS PER TEAM.

4. All league matches shall be of 12 over with one side bowling only.

5. First ball of every inning shall be a free hit - wide and no ball excluded i.e. runs counted while free hit continues, but if batsman is bowled 4 runs shall be deducted from the score and in run out condition shall be declared out.

6. Maximum 15 runs shall be allowed per batsman and declared temporary retire and shall only play after last wicket in the same sequence of retirement, while hitting 2-3-4-6 at score of 14 or less the total score shall be counted.

7. For all league matches before toss captain shall declare 3 players - 2 batsmen 1 bowler or 1 batsman 2 bowlers which shall not be repeated in following league match, i.e. if you go for 2 batsmen 1 bowler, in following league you have to go with 1 batsman, 2 bowlers or vice versa.

   1. Declared batsman can score maximum 25 runs and in case fails to score minimum 15 runs, 5 runs shall be deducted from the total score.

   2. For 2 batsmen 1 bowler option, one of the declared batsmen has to either open or come as 3^rd batsman i.e. 1 down.

   3. All declared bowler must bowl 4 over. In case the declared bowler fails to bowl 4 over, balance over shall be bowled by other bowler and shall also be deducted from number of over for chasing score OR in case of second inning maximum run/over shall be deducted from score for opposite team to chase.

   4. The declared batsman or bowler cannot be nominated in the same category in the following league match.

8. Except the declared bowler, a bowler can bowl maximum 3 over.

9. Match sequence/schedule will not be changed.

10. It’s mandatory for captain to play at least one league match unless opted prior to auction.

11. It’s mandatory for non played players to play the following league match considering two matches, no replacement for any players shall be allowed even if unfit. While umpire’s decision shall be considered as final in case of ground injuries like fracture, dislocation, cut or any evidently seen injury.

12. In case a player is unable to reach on time, the team plays with a short player while the said player can join later as per ICC rules.

13. Minimum playing ratio for the team of 11 shall be

    1. Captain/ALM/AM/AFF 06

    2. TLM/TR/Corporate 03

    3. Team Sponsor 01

14. It’s mandatory to maintain the above mentioned minimum playing ratio for all the matches played and captain shall declare playing 11 based on minimum playing ratio before toss.

15. Toss will be done at the end of 1^st inning of the previous match.

16. As per ICC rules no runner will be allowed for batsman, while substitute for player in fielding shall be umpire’s decision.

17. For throw bawling batsman may inform umpire in advance.

18. 1^st, 2^nd, 11^th and 12^th over shall be power play where maximum 3 players shall be allowed outside the circle.

19. All no balls shall be free hit.

20. All time minimum 7 players shall be inside the circle.(5 + bowler + wicket keeper)

21. In tie condition the match will move in super over, in case tie in super over highest number of sixes in super over shall be considered to declare winner, in case of tie in number of sixes highest number of boundary in super over shall be considered to declare winner.

22. For super over play 3 batsmen and bowler shall be declared by the captain and for fielding minimum 7 players will be allowed inside the circle. (no toss in super over while one who bats 1^st shall ball 1^st)

23. LBW as per umpire decision.

24. For wide ball 2 runs shall be given while ball shall be counted in the over, unless, the last ball of the over is wide than 2 runs plus bowler has to ball another ball till fair delivery. Last ball of the match shall also be a fair delivery only.

25. Umpire’s decision shall be final while no arguments with umpire shall be allowed and there will be no 3^rd umpire.

26. Total of all the league matches net run rate shall be calculated to declare 1^st position, 2^nd position and so on for the final day play.

27. Based on the net run rate of league matches final day quarter final will start with 6 runs on score for 3^rd position holder and with 4 runs on score for 4^th position holder.

28. IDL committee reserves the right to change/modify any mentioned/non mentioned rules without prior intimation.
