Guidelines, Rules and Format Cricket

• 4 Groups – 4 teams each. 
• All matches will be of 16 Overs per innings.

1. The first 4 overs of an innings will be a mandatory power play for league matches and quarter final. During the mandatory power play only two fielders are allowed outside the 30-yard circle.
2. Match will start at a given time. Minimum 7 players are required per team to start the match.

• Team(s) responsible for late start of innings shall be penalized by reduction in number of overs which they will face during their batting according to the following table.

1. Delay of 10 minutes - 1 over
2. Delay of 10-20 minutes - 2 overs
3. Delay of 20-30 minutes - 3 overs
4. Delay of 30+ minutes - Walkover

• Before the Toss in a match, both the Captains must handover the list of their playing ELEVEN to the Tournament Committee and No changes will be allowed thereafter.
• Toss will happen 10 minutes before match start time.

Points:

1. In league matches, the winning team will get 2 points and the losing team will get 0 points. In case of a tie, each team will get 1 point each.
2.  If two or more teams end up with same number of points after league matches, qualification for next round will be decided on the basis of net run rate.
3. Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the next round.
4. In case of a tie in Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and Final, Super Over will decide the winner. Super Over – Batting first will remain in same order as that of match. An Over will be played by each team or until 2 wickets whichever happens earlier. Whichever team scores most in Super Over will win.

Match Rules:

1. One player can play from only one team in the tournament. If it comes to the organizer’s notice that a team has a player who has played for another team in the tournament or the player is not an employee of the company - then the team will be penalized. This is completely the organizer’s discretion.
2. All the teams will play in good spirit and maintain the decorum of the game and no one will be allowed to pass any comments/remarks on any one/s on the field or off the field. If any such incident comes to notice, the Committee has full powers to enquire the matter and if proved true, then such team including the player/s will be penalized.
3. In case a playing member of the team becomes "unfit to play" during the progress of the game, the fielding side can use substitute fielders to replace the "injured" player. Umpires and opposition captain reserve the right to disallow substitute fielders for the late arriving playing members of the fielding side and also for the injured players.
4. The wicket keeper can bowl, during the same inning, need to request an umpire for “Keeper Change”.
5. There are FREE HIT on No Balls (All type of No balls).
6. There are no leg byes or LBW in this tournament. There is no run out on a LEG BYE.
7. League [4 Overs]: Power play is compulsory for the first 4 overs of each inning. Only 2 fielders will be allowed outside the 30 yard circle.
8. Maximum 4 overs will be allowed for a bowler.
9. Minimum 6 players [1-Bowler, 1-wicketkeeper, 4 fielders] are required to be inside circle at all times.
10. On the ‘On side’, maximum 5 fielders are allowed to field.
11. MAN OF THE MATCH award will be decided by the Committee at the end of each match.
12. Innings Break: 10 minutes.

Guidelines:

1. The playing teams requested to take care of their own belongings, as the organizers will not be responsible for loss of their property or valuables.
2. Organizers will not be responsible for any injuries or mishaps at the venue.
3. One representative from each playing side will accompany the official scorer and inform him about the player’s detail. They also need to check time and again the data and spellings of the player name, and number which would be used for our record purpose. In case the representative is not available, no corrections or amendments would be allowed later.
4. The decision of the Committee shall be final in all matters. On field the umpire’s decision would be considered final.
5. Players should not Smoke / Consume alcohol at the Venue.

KEY NOTE:

1. Anytime if the Umpires cannot make the decision, organizers can step in and help.
2. If required, players can be asked to give their Photo ID Cards or a letter from the company authorizing the player to be an employee of the company. In absence of this, the player would not be allowed to play the match.
3. In case of any dispute – the final decision would be from the organiser’s committee.
