Please find the rules below for EPL : Group matches will be of 7 overs. Play off matches will be of 8 overs. Only 1 player can bowl maximum 2 overs during group matches. Only 2 players can bowl maximum 2 overs during play offs. Only over arm bowling is allowed. 4 & 6 runs only allowed in front. 2 runs declare between last and second last pole Extra Runs allowed: No ball (Free-Hit) & wide ball Extra Runs not allowed: Bye, leg bye & over thorw Female needs to bowl one over between 1st to 4th over. Female needs to bat between 1st to 4th batsman. Only 8 players (including one female) will be on the field during fielding but all players can bat. 1 female is compulsory in the field all the time. Tie will result into super over. Super over tie result in to one ball per person until desired result is achieved. Umpire decision will be last decision. Inning break will be strictly for 5 min. (Penalty will be applied to either of team 3 runs) Bowling pace will be decided by umpire. Medium speed will be allowed and speed decision will be decided by umpire. Obstructing field or ball will be declared as out. Powerplay – There will be 2 powerplay overs in the each innings. Powerplay would mean you can only have 2 fielders behind the bowler. Powerplay has to be decided before the over starts. Bowling Powerplay – It will be taken by bowling captain between 1st – 3rd over of the game. Batting Powerplay - It will be taken by batting captain between 4th – 7th over of the game. Normal cricket rules applied in case of any confusion.
