- INTRODUCTION
CSPL- stands for civil service premier league cricket, Wayanad. Opinions obtained
from various government employees brought a new idea of such a great venture. It is
intended to provide an opportunity to all Government employees from various
departments, a chance to come together and compete with each other. A total of 17
department teams has already participated in the previous editions. CSPL is first of it's
kind in Kerala, proobably in the world. CSPL adopting all possible international cricketing
rules. So all teams should carefully understand the match and playing conditions. More
over each and every player is an ambassador of CSPL and they themselves are the
responsible person to conduct the event smoothly.
FEATURES & PARTICIPATION:
It is decided to conduct CSPL tournament in every year.
A committee governing body has been constituted among the members from various
departments for the smooth conduction of the event.
District Collector will be the patron of CSPL.
The term ‘A team’ is defined as a Department.
‘A team’ consists of 16 to 20 players including a manager who can be a player himself in
the team.
A team has the freedom to register 5 members from out of Wayanad District, but working
in the same department.
Only 3 out of such 5 registered players can be included in the playing eleven.
A single individual from any department can participate in the event under the following
conditions:
I. That department doesn’t have enough players to register as a team.
II. Such Individuals can register in CSPL.
III. A team, Consortium of other department is formed from such registered players.
IV. The formation of Consortium team is under the strict supervision of CSPL
governing body.
Registration renewal/ Registration fee is `. 10,000/- *
Team registration should be completed on or before 15th December 2019.
Player’s registration should be completed on or before 31st December, 5 pm
Behaviour of players on the field and off the field viewed seriously.
Any kind of act by a player which is inappropriate to the game and any breach of the spirit
of the game should be punishable by the authority concerned.
CSPL governing body is the sole authority to any kind of amendments in BYE-LAW,
match related issues, complaints, match structures, etc.
