PROFESSIONAL CUP- 2021
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF CRICKET MATCH – 18/04/2021
1. Minimum 5 Bowlers: All matches will be of 6 overs a side with a maximum of 2 overs for Only 1 bowler and rest can bowl only one over.
2. Power play: 1st over will be the power play. Only Two fielders will be allowed to stand outside the 30 yard circle. After the power play, Maximum 5 fielders may stand outside
the 30 yard circle throughout the innings.
3. Points: 2 points will be given for a win and 1 point each if match ends with tie in league stage. Super over will be held if match ends with tie in knock out stage.
4. At the end of league matches if 2 or more teams in group ends with same point, net run rate (displayed in the Crichero’s app) will be considered.
5. Throw bowling is strictly prohibited.
6. Vicky medium soft ball will be used for the match.
7. For every innings New Ball will be provided.
8. In case of no ball (All types), free hit will be given to the batsman.
9. Umpire decision is final, No argument with umpire will be allowed under any
circumstance.
10.All the teams must be present at 8.00 AM on the MGM Ground. First match will start sharply at 8. 00AM
11. Only Members registered under professional bodies are allowed play the cricket.
12. Fifteen members list along with membership number & mobile Number should be provided before 16/04/2021 Friday 5 pm.
13. Fixtures will be drawn on 17/04/2021Saturday, will be posted in the WhatsApp group.
14. The organizers reserves the right to frame/change/modify any of the rules at any stage of the tournament, if found necessary.
15. It’s the captain’s responsibility to uphold spirit of the game by his team.
16. Other Standard cricket rules will be applicable.
17. Consuming alcohol in the ground is strictly prohibited.
