ABOUT - THE ROLLING CUP:

The Rolling Cup 2017 is staging a national level Cricket tournament in Ahmedabad that is expected to have more than 100 teams participating from various states of the country. Having played 4 to 5 Cricket games a day, the event will continue for 30 days. All the games played in The Rolling Cup 2017 will be 20 overs a side and all general the rules and regulations will be based on the ICC guidelines and the code of conduct. The Rolling Cup management committee will provide match uniforms, food and lodging to all the players of registered team during the time the tournament progresses.

Rules & Regulations: 

• Over format :12 overs
• Power play : 3 overs 
• Only 2 player allowed  outside the 30 yard circle during power play 
• Maximum 5 players are allowed outside the 30 yard circle after power play
• A bowler is allowed to bowl  maximum 3 over in one inning 
• Team is responsible to report on time and submit plays details (Penalty would be applicable if there is delay in reporting time) 
• Every team has to complete their 12 overs in 45 minutes
• Umpires decision would be the final decision.

Deciders:

For any tied game once all the 20 overs are bowled by both the teams, both teams will play a mini match of one over, ‘super over’. If any of the team loses wicket in the over it will lose the match. The team with higher score in the ‘super over’ will be a clear cut winner. In case the ‘super over’ also ties, then the team having higher number of sixes. In case the numbers of sixes are same, then the team with higher number of fours will be accounted as winner. In case there is still a tie, then the team having subsequent sixes in their original inning will be awarded as winner. In case the match still ties then the team with higher number of fours will be accounted.

Terms and Conditions:

Registration fees is non refundable irrespective of the scenario and no request shall be entertained.One player cannot play from two sides. If any player does that, it would be straightaway banned for the lifetime from The Rolling Cup.All the players should be available with their respective ID cards.The Rolling Cup will not be responsible for any kind of equipment loss or damage or in case of theft.The teams need to report the match officials prior 2 hours of the scheduled game play.The teams will need to necessarily wear the uniforms provided by the management team.The teams will have to carry their own playing kit and The Rolling Cup organizing team will not provide any kind of support related to playing kits.The Rolling Cup management team will not be responsible for any kind of minor or serious or death of a player on or off the field during the entire tournament.The Rolling Cup management team will provide only first aid only for any kind of injuries. In case of serious injuries, the further treatment will shall bore by the relevant team and the staff.Players or team will be responsible for any kind of damage or loss of commodities provided by the management and will be charged according along with the appropriate fine.The eligible for date of birth for The Rolling Cup 2017 will be prior 1st January, 2001Minors are allowed only once they have a N.O.C signed by their parents.The Rolling Cup management team has an authority to change any terms and conditions without any prior notice.The teams will be responsible for taking the updates on fixtures and statistics one the match is over.All the rights of content of this website are protected with adminThe Rolling Cup management team will not be responsible for any health issue developed during the tournaments due to consumption of unhealthy or fast food.

                                                                           Code of Conduct

Organization:

The Rolling Cup organizing team is liable for administering all the Code of Conduct being implemented for all the tournaments and respective games being played.

Role of Umpires:

Maintaining the game spirit of the play, the Umpires will be prime judges for fair or any unfair game played at the ground. The Code provides the authority to decide the acceptable and unacceptable behaviour of the players. The Umpires will be entitled to briefly review and practice the Code prior thirty minutes starting of the play and will be up to the scores being successfully submitted to the official scorers. Umpires have the full authority as their duty to scrutinize and players’ behaviour on the field before first ball being bowled and after the last one bowled.

Standards of Conduct:

The Rolling Cup strictly opposes the misbehaviour, verbal abuse, physical violence to opposition playing team, umpires, ground staff, scorers, match officials, management team, organizing team. All the on-field breaches in the code of conduct will be scrutinized by Umpires and off-field behaviour will be scrutinized by the organizing team or management team and penalized the personnel found guilty leading to disqualification and suspension of the personnel from the further future tournaments. In such extreme cases, the whole team could be offended and suspended. No further apologies or request shall be entertained by The Rolling Cup officials.

Role of Captains and Team members:

All the Captains are responsible for the conduct by their players and would be penalized if found not taking the responsibilities of their players. Also, all the Captains will need to remain present during any official meet relating the games and players’ behaviour in all the matches.

Penalties:

Any kind of Code of Conduct breach by players would lead to two time five run penalty or direct suspension of the players from the game or certain number of games or whole tournament or a lifetime ban from playing in The Rolling Cup as per the degree of the offence. The Umpires as well as the Organizing team will be final authority to decide the level of punishment or suspension during The Rolling Cup event.

Reporting Principles and Procedure:

Any kind of breaching of code of Conduct on the field shall be reported by the Umpires and decide the level of offence based on their fine judgment experience. This shall be further reported by the Umpires to the organizing team and in form written text mentioning all the details about the player and the level of offence including explanation of the scenario comprehensively. Once the game is over match officials including the Umpire and Referees as well as Captains of both the teams will need to sign on the document provided. The captain owning guilty player will have no authority to make request for any kind of favour of the member.
