BOX CRICKET LEAGUE

SEASON 1 

 *Rules and Regulations* 

1. Report at least 20 minutes prior to the match. Considering the time restrictions at the venue, if any team is more than 10 minutes late, the opposition team will get walkover.

2. 8 players in each squad. 7 on field (8th player will be super substitute)

3. Step rules are not in play. Normal speed is allowed, in case the batsmen calls out for throwing too fast, the bowler must slow down. 

4. All kinds of bats are allowed. 

5. 7 overs per side, 1st over of every innings is mandatory power play.

6. Two bowlers can bowl 2 overs each, rest of the bowlers must bowl one over each.

7. Overthrows are in play. Even boundaries will be given in an overthrow.  No runs for byes and leg byes.

8. All kinds of no balls (above waist, over stepping, etc) will be penalised with a free hit.

9. Teams cannot make changes in their squad once they’ve submitted their final list of 8 players.

10. Neutral Umpires will be managing the matches. Hence, their decision will be final.
