IMA BOX CRICKET COMPETITION -2021 Rules & regulations

1. Competition will be held on 21st February, Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm at Pavilions Turf at Manmad Chowfully  , Malegaon

1)One team will have 8 players to bat, 7 players to field and 6 players to bowl, One over per bowler in Round Robin matches

 

2) In semifinal and Final, one bowler can bowl 2 overs

3)Umpires decision will be final, Team arguing will be disqualified. All Matches will be played strictly on time scheduled. Team has to report 15 minutes  prior to the match. If a Team is late or absent, other team will be declared winner. 

4)Match will be played with Soft Tennis ball. Balls will be provided by IMA, New ball for each inning. 

5)League matches will be played of 6 overs each innings. Semifinal and final will be of 7 overs.

6)1st Semi-final between Team finishing first and Team finishing fourth, 2nd Semi final between Team finishing second and third.

7) Fast ball will be given No Ball ,Decision of umpire will be final regarding fast ball

8) Touching of Side & Front Line will be given No ball 

9) Ball pitching outside  shaved square will be given No Ball 

10)No ball will have a free hit on next delivery. 

11) Direct catch after hitting Top and side net will be OUT 

12) Power play  -- 1 st over of each inning , where only 2 fielders can be there on boundary line and after that only four fielders can field behind the bowlers crease. (Including bowler)

13) Run rate will be calculated as per formula: NET RUN CALCULATOR APP 

14) In case of Tie, super over will be played.
