Rules for the Up-Coming Cricket Tournament 24 & 26

1. All league matches, including the qualifier will be of 9 overs per side,
where minimum 6 bowlers need to be used. Up to 3 bowlers can bowl 2
over max per match. And for final match it will be 10 overs per side, with
same rule of minimum 6 bowlers, but here 4 bowlers can bowl 2 overs
max.
2. Every winning team will get 2 points and losing team will get 0 point, if
the match is tie, we will have super over, to get the result.
3. In super over, only 3 batters can bat and 1 bowler will bowl the supper
over. If super over is also tie, will have another super over but second
time bowler will be different and the batters who got out in 1 super over
can take part in the second one.
4. Last man batting will be allowed, also he will be considered as out on
both ends while running.
5. Apart from LBW rest everting will be on.
6. There will be no D1 and D2 for Leg byes, Byes and Over Throw.
7. There will be bonus point system for every Match. If a team chase the
target in 7 overs, they will get 1 bonus point, over and above the 2
winning points, same way team defending the total needs to restrict the
chasing team within 80% of their target to get 1 bonus point, if the 80%
is in decimal of 0.49 or below the number will be round down and if it is
0.50 and above it will be roundup. For example, if team is chasing target
of 92, they need to chase this target in 7 overs to get their bonus point,
and the team defending the target need to restrict the batting team
under 74 runs (92*80% = 73.6 roundup to 74)
8. At the end of all the league matches if 1 or more team has same number
of points, then NRR will be considered. NRR calculation will be done by
Kushal
9. Apart from 2 batters rest all team members of batting side needs to be
outside the ground.
10. Bat and Ball Kits will be kept outside the ground.
11. 2 New balls will be given to Umpire for each new innings.
12. Umpires decision will be final and it will be Captain’s responsibility for
100% adherence.
13. If the ball Hits the Tree placed in the Front Boundary it will be
considered as six.
14.If the ball has got stuck in the fence located on legside, it will be
considered as D1 or D2, along with 1 extra run running, for example D1
1= 2 Runs in total and D2 1=3 Runs in total.
15.All 4 Team needs to report Ground by 7:30 AM in the morning and 4 PM
in the evening, responsibility of the same will be of Team captain.
16.Number 1 team of the tournament will qualify for the final, and 2 and 3
spots will play a qualifier, number 4 team will be out of the tournament.
17. In case of Rain, Match can be shifted to any time of the day.
18. If there is shortage of a player for any of the team, they can borrow
same skill set of players from another team. Max permissible limit for
such player will be of only 1.
19.If one takes a catch and touches the boundary fence it will be declared
as 6 but if one takes a catch while touching the side fence where D1 and
D2 rule applies it will be considered as Out.
20. If a bowler is changing his action in between the over, he needs to
inform the same to the umpire or else it will be called as No Ball.
21. A bowler can’t bowl throws with runup and side arm.
22. Only 1 Bowler per innings can bowl Throw bowling.
23. If the ball is Hitting directly on the light poles placed on leg and straight
boundary of football ground it will be counted as 6.
24.In absence of Neutral Umpire’s, selection of Umpires will be done by the
2 teams playing, 1 each.
