Turf Cricket Rules ?

Bowling Rules:

• Full-hand rotation is not allowed.

• Bowling must be done behind the line.

• Touching the line will be considered a no-ball.

• Any ball delivered above waist height will be called a no-ball.

Scoring Rules:

• Front net: 6 runs

• Side net touch followed by a front net touch: 4 runs

• Top net touch followed by a front net touch: 6 runs

• Top net catch: Out

Match Format:

• Each match will have 5 players per team with 1 substitute player.

• The substitute can bat if introduced before the first batting innings and is eligible to bowl.

Additional Rules:

• Last Man Batting: If the last player is not out, he can continue to bat alone until dismissed.

• Substitute Player: A substitute player can be introduced to replace an injured player or for strategic reasons.

• Umpires: One umpire will officiate the game— positioned outside the turf. The umpire’s decision is final and must be respected.

- White Card -1st Warning 

- Yellow Card - 2 Runs Down or 2 Runs up.

- Red Card - One Player Down for 1 over.

• Overs: Bowling team to finish slot of 

8 overs in 20 mins

10 overs in 25 mins

• No-ball and Free Hit: A no-ball will result in a free hit for the batting team, meaning the batsman cannot be dismissed on that delivery except by a run-out.

• Wide Ball: Any ball that is too far off the batting line, making it difficult for the batsman to reach, will be called a wide. Each wide ball will result in 1 extra run for the batting team, and an extra delivery will be bowled.

• Run-Out: Regular Run Out
