General Rules:
1 Match Format: Each side bats for a maximum of 10 overs.
2 Players: Each team must field 11 players (with the option of 1 substitute fielder).
3 Bowling Restrictions: A bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs in an innings.
4 No Ball: Any delivery overstepping the crease or above waist height without pitching will be a
no-ball. The batting side will receive a free hit after a no-ball.
5 Wide Ball: Standard ICC wide rules apply.
6 Match Ball: A red hard tennis ball approved by the tournament committee will be used.
7 Scoring: Normal ICC scoring rules apply (4 runs for boundary, 6 runs for clearing the boundary
without bouncing).
8 Umpires: Two on-field umpires will officiate the match and their decision will be final.
9 Time Limit: Each innings must be completed within 30 minutes. Failure will result idepends on-field
umpire penlaties which will be decided before the match.
10 Super Over: In case of a tie, one super over will decide the winner.
11. Byes and Leg Byes: Standard ICC rules apply. Byes are awarded when the ball, not being a
no-ball or wide, passes the striker without touching the bat or person, and runs are completed by
the batsmen. Leg byes are awarded if the ball hits the batsman’s body (not the bat) and runs are
completed, regardless of whether a shot was offered (given the no LBW exception).Overthrows: If
a fielder throws the ball and it results in additional runs after the batsmen have completed their
initial run, those extra runs will be scored as byes, provided the ball does not touch a batsman or
their bat.
Exception Rules:
Note: As the tournament is conducted on a baseball ground, certain ground-specific rules will be
defined by the tournament committee and communicated to team captains at the time of the match.
• No LBW: Leg Before Wicket (LBW) will not be considered in this tournament.
• Substitute Fielder: Each team is allowed to use one substitute fielder, who may only field and
cannot bat or bowl.
• Bats: Teams must bring their own bats. Fibre bats are not allowed. All bats must be
inspected and approved by the umpire before the match. If the umpire rejects a bat, it cannot
be used, and if a team has no approved bats available, they may not be able to play.
