AHP FREEDOM SMASH LEAGUE TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS ?
1) Teams & Format
- 6 teams, each with 10 players.
- League stage: top team qualifies directly for the finals.
- 2nd and 3rd place teams meet in a qualifier to decide the second finalist.
2) Match Tie
- If a match ties, a Super Over is played.
- Super Over: 1 over per side, 2 wickets for all-out.
3) Overs & Bowling Rules
- Innings: 4 or 5 overs (decided by the organizer).
- Every team will have new ball for there First 2 matches then Rest match will be with used ball
- only final will be played with new ball
- Maximum 1 over per bowler.
- Only under-arm bowling is allowed; medium-fast bowling is permitted.
4) Time Limit
- 25 minutes per innings.
5) No-Ball Rules
- Ball must pitch beyond the No-ball line; otherwise it’s a No-ball (free hit).
- White Line Box Rule: bowler’s front foot touching the white line box on any side = No-ball.
- Direct ball above waist height = No-ball free hit.
- Direct ball landing behind the stumps = No-ball free hit.
- Stumping on a No-ball = Not Out.
- If the wicketkeeper collects the ball before it passes the stumps during a stumping attempt, it is a No-ball.
- Ball pitching directly outside pitch any side will consider a No-ball.
6) Roof & Netting Rules
- Ball touches the roof and is caught directly by a fielder → Out. ?
- Ball touches the roof and crosses the boundary → Six. ?
- Ball touches the side netting and crosses the boundary → Four. ?
- Ball touches the side netting and is caught by a fielder before crossing the boundary → NOT Out.
7) Wickets & Catches
- Catches or dismissals involving roof/side-netted balls follow the rules above.
- If there’s any ambiguity during a live play, the match umpire’s decision will prevail.
