Muscat Royal League- Season – 2
Rules & Regulations:
1. Entry Fee - OMR.20/-
2. Every team will play against the opponent once.
3. Match between the two teams with ground will be decided by the organizer.
4. 16 Overs for each side.
5. Powerplay first 5 overs (Maximum of 3 fielders allowed outside the circle).
6. Maximum 5 fielders allowed outside the circle after the powerplay (6-16 Overs).
7. Leg side maximum 5 fielders allowed + Bowler (5+1).
8. Maximum 4 overs can be bowled by only one bowler; others can bowl maximum of 3 overs (5 Bowlers should be used at least).
9. No free hit and no Lbw.
10. After the league stage, top 4 four teams will go through to the Play offs. Play off, Eliminator and Final ground location will be decided by organizer.
11. Scorecard must be shared after every match in this group and Scoring should be Cricheros mobile application.
12. Players who have played in at least 3 league matches only allowed to play after group stage.
13. Match starting time can be agreed between teams, if any team not reaching the ground on time +/- 15 minutes (2 Overs can be reduced as penalty as per both captains’ decision it is not compulsory to reduce the overs if the opponent captain is adjusted).
14. Please enter the players names in crickheros application.
15. IMPACT player is allowed and as per the IPL rules.
16. Tied match with levelled scores, SUPER over should be played up to the results.
17. Ball pitching outside the side pitch will be considering as no ball.Waist height no ball should be called by the leg side umpire first then the main umpire can give the signal to bowler.
18. MANKAD is NOT allowed in this league. Normal run out is applicable as per ICC law.
19. All the issues should be short it out at the ground between the captains, if any team walkover the points shall be given to the standby team and net RR consider as zero. Do not make arguments and fights try to resolve the issue in ground in friendly manner.
