Cloudnine Cricket Tournament – South Region 2025

Day, Date & Time:17 & 24th August 2025, 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Venue: Azhar Skywalk Cricket Academy, Bengaluru (Location will be shared in Whatsapp Group)

CRICKET TOURNAMENT RULES

 20 TEAMS are participating in this Tournament

 Each match will be of 10 overs per side (Knockout Matches)

 Each match will have to be completed in 90 minutes – 45 minutes each side

 Max 2 overs can be bowled by any person in an innings. 

 One bouncer per over is allowed, 2nd bouncer is called a No Ball

 Only full arm bowling will be allowed. There is no restriction on run-up

 Normal cricketing rules except LBW and Leg byes will apply.

 No-ball of any kind will have a free hit in next ball

 First 3 overs of each innings will be power play, only 3 players are allowed outside the 30 yards ring. After PP Max 5 fielders are allowed outside the 30 yards Ring.

 Any player absent from the field for certain amount of time should complete the same amount of time in field to perform batting or bowling duties.

 Retired hurt (Batsman leaving the field due to injury, can comeback after the fall of next wicket) is at the discretion of Umpires and Opposition captain. Retired out (Batsman would be declared out)is allowed only once in an innings.

 All matches are qualifying matches. In case of a tie, there will be a super over for decision. In case of tie in super over, Team who lost lesser wickets in match will be declared winner. If still its same total number of boundaries (4s+6s) will be considered with higher declared winner.

 New balls will be used for each innings.

 Professional Umpires are hired for these matches. Umpire decision is final.

 In case of any dispute relating to a decision, the field umpires will discuss, and their decision will be final.

 No players other than the captains of teams will be allowed to discuss with Umpires.

 Organising committee (comprising captains of each team) will deal with any issue/dispute.

 The Organizing Committee shall decide the Man of the Match for each match and Man of the Tournament and their decision will be final.

 The Organizing Committee shall have power to make any rule within cricketing norms and to decide in case of any dispute, whose decision will be FINAL.
