T20 Cricket Tournament Rules & Regulations
1️⃣
Team Composition
- Each team must have 11 players.
- Up to 2 substitutes are allowed (for injury or other valid reasons).
- All players must be registered before the first match.
2️⃣
Match Format
- Each match will consist of 20 overs per innings.
- Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 4 overs.
- Standard T20 fielding and bowling restrictions apply.
3️⃣
Powerplay Overs
- The first 6 overs are designated as the Powerplay.
- Only 2 fielders are allowed outside the 30-yard circle during Powerplay.
- After Powerplay, 5 fielders may be outside the circle.
4️⃣
Points System
- ? Win: 2 points
- ? Tie / No Result: 1 point
- ❌ Loss: 0 points
- ? Walkover: Opposing team gets 2 points
5️⃣
Knockout Stage / Tiebreakers
- In the event of a tie in a knockout, a Super Over will be played.
- If still tied, the winner will be decided by:
- Most boundaries in the match
- League stage ranking (if applicable)
6️⃣
Player Conduct
- Disciplinary actions will be taken for:
- Use of foul language
- Arguing with umpires
- Time-wasting or unfair play
- Respect the umpire – their decision is final.
7️⃣
Match Timings
- Teams must report 30 minutes before the match starts.
- A delay of more than 15 minutes may lead to a walkover.
- Warm-up and toss must be completed before the scheduled start time.
