Tournament Rules

1. We are God’s children, and we must maintain that standard in everything we do. We

hope each team will maintain a spiritual standard in this tournament.

2. A team squad should consist of a minimum of 11 and a maximum of 15 players.

3. A team must declare its 11 players before the match.

4. A player who has played in one team is not allowed to play in another team

5. This tournament would be played with a Red Vicky hard Tennis ball.

6. Each innings would start with a new ball.

a. In case a ball is lost or broken before two overs of an innings, then a new ball

would be issued.

b. If lost after two overs of an innings, the old ball [used] would be issued.

7. The league matches and semi-finals would be of 8 overs. The final may be 10 overs,

depending on the situation.

8. In an 8-over game, each bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs.

9. In a 10-over game, 2 bowlers can bowl a maximum of 3 overs.

10. No Balls/Wides:

1 run + Re-bowled.

Bouncers at/above shoulder height are "No Balls". No free hit would be awarded for

no balls.

11. No LBW.

12. Leg byes and overthrows are allowed.

13. Top 2 teams of each pool will directly qualify to the semis (based on NRR). IF A and B

are 2 pools. A1 will face B2 and B1 will face A2 in semis.14. On the case of tie there would be a super over in which the team who scored most

runs in that over will called be winner. Another super over will be played if the match

is still tied.

15. 12th man is permitted to field in case of a player/players get injured during the match

only, with the discretion of umpire as per standard rules. The twelfth man cannot bowl

or bat.

16. Injured batsmen are "retired hurt".

17. D/L method used if 3+ overs played. If <3 overs; the match is abandoned; the points

are shared.

18. All players must be pre-listed before the tournament.

19. The umpire's decision is final in all matters of play.

20. Only the captain and vice-captain may speak to the umpire.

21. No knee pads permitted; other pads are acceptable.

22. At least four fielders must remain inside the circle at all times. Violation results in a no

ball.

23. Teams must show sportsmanship and respect.

24. In cases where rules are not explicitly defined, the organizers or the tournament

committee will make the final decision.
