Village-level T20 knockout tournament (colored dress format)
General Rules & Regulations:
1. Departmental Teams Eligibility:
Departmental teams are allowed to participate under the condition that all players must belong to the same department and office location. No exceptions will be entertained.
2. Match Timing Policy:
There will be no compromise on match timings. Teams arriving late will face over deductions as a penalty.
3. Match Balls:
First Round: Match balls will be provided by the organizing committee.
From Second Round Onwards: Teams must arrange their own match balls. No additional balls will be available at the ground.
4. Water Supply:
Each match will include 5 liters of drinking water provided by the organizing body.
5. DL Method Usage:
In case of weather interruptions or unforeseen delays, the DLS method app will be used to determine match outcomes.
6. Team Squad:
There are no restrictions on the size or number of players in a team's squad.
7. Umpire's Authority:
The umpire's decision is final and binding. No challenges or disputes regarding on-field decisions will be entertained.
8. Local Player Rule:
Teams must consist exclusively of local players. If a player from another village is found in the team, the team will be disqualified without prior notice.
9. Departmental Player Integrity:
For departmental teams, if any player is found to be outside the department, the team will be disqualified immediately.
10. Protest/Objection Policy:
Any objection or protest must be submitted on the same day of the match before 8:00 PM. No complaints will be accepted beyond this deadline.
11. Team Uniform:
All teams must wear matching colored uniforms for proper team identification.
12. Ground Rules:
Additional ground-specific rules will be conveyed by the organizing committee at the time of the toss.
