?BOX CRICKET?

⭐️ Team Format:

• Team will consist of 6 players on each side. ( Including one Female Player, mandatorily)

• ⁠Extra player can only play in case of injury.

• ⁠The replacement should be from the same gender. (Only females can replace female players)

• ⁠Participants must be TUHH students.

⁠

⭐️ Bowling and fielding Rules:

• Each inning will consist of 6 overs.

• One bowler can bowl a maximum of one over in an inning.

• ⁠Bowler should bowl from the box without lifting any leg. (No Stepping-Otherwise No ball)

• ⁠Direct catch, hit wicket, run out and 6 as boundary will be considered as a wicket.

• ⁠No LBW.

• ⁠If Keeper collects the ball before it passes the stumps for stumping, then stumping will not be valid.

• ⁠Super over will be played in case of a tie.

⭐️ Batting Rules:

• No Sixes. Only fours and runs (running between the wickets) will be counted.

• ⁠Six = Out

• ⁠One run in case of No Ball and Wide. (No free hit)

• ⁠Byes and leg Byes are allowed. (Running between the wickets is required.)

• ⁠Overthrow runs are allowed.

⭐️ Female-specific rules:

• Female player needs to bowl at least one over.

• ⁠Female player needs to bat before 3 wickets down.

• ⁠Female player is allowed to hit sixer 

Scoring, point tables and NRR calculation would be done in Cric Heros App.
