1. Umpire & Captain Roles
The umpire’s decision is final.
Only captains may discuss or appeal decisions.
Captains must ensure teammates do not get involved in discussions.
2. Extras & Overthrows
Extras: Wide, high no ball, and overstep no ball apply.
Wide Ball: If the ball pitches outside the wide line but comes inside the crease, it’s not a wide (will be explained on ground).
Overthrows: Allowed only if both teams have at least 9 players (including double side player).
Offside Overthrows : If it crosses the offside boundary, as usual maximum runs of 2 runs will be provided . Near the backside wall, where we don't have runs, Batsman have to run and get the run for overthrows .
Dead Ball: No runs; ball is re-bowled. If the ball pitches more than once, it’s a dead ball, regardless of where it lands.
Bouncers: 1 bouncer per over allowed; a 2nd bouncer is a no ball plus a free hit.
3. Bowling Rules
Bowlers may bowl fast but cannot run up to deliver the ball.
4. Scoring Updates
Batting team must inform the opposition captain of the score after every over.
5. Overs & Team Size
Number of overs = Number of players 2.
Teams are fixed once the match is set. Late arrivals can play only if notified in advance.
6. No Changes After Start
No changes to players or overs after the match begins.
7. Bowling Limits
Maximum of 2 bowlers can bowl 2 overs each per game.
8. Batting Rules
No single batsman allowed if playing with 8 per side (including double side player).
Batsmen can retire only at the end of an over and may return only as the last batsman.
9. Batting Participation
All players must bat. For each player who doesn’t bat (if all overs are completed), 10 runs will be deducted per unused player.
This rule does not apply to common/double side players.
10. Nominated Umpires
Before the match, each captain nominates 3 players from the opposing team as umpires.
When a team is batting, their nominated umpires officiate.
11. Powerplay (PP)
<8 overs: 1 over PP
8–11 overs: Any 2 consecutive overs PP
12 overs: Any 3 consecutive overs PP
Only 3 fielders allowed on the boundary during PP; others must be inside the inner circle (cones will be used).
Batting captain decides when to use PP. If unused, the last overs will automatically be PP.
