Bowling Action Rule (Important!)

During our last session, we noticed some players did not swing their bowling arm from behind, instead throwing the ball normally from the front.

? New Rule:
It is mandatory that the bowling arm clearly swings from behind. The front release can be relaxed for now (a normal throw is okay), but the arm must come from behind with a visible swing.

? Please refer to the example picture for clarification.

? Please practice this at home to make it more natural during the match.

Note for Future Tournaments

For this tournament, the front part of the bowling action is flexible. However, in future tournaments, the full bowling action (back swing and front release) will be strictly enforced.
We will be very strict about this moving forward, InshAllah.

Time Management

• No breaks during the game (e.g., no drink breaks)
• Only a 5-minute halftime break between innings.

Video Review

• Each team is allowed one review per innings. If the review is successful, the team retains it. If unsuccessful, the review is lost for that innings.
• The umpire will check the video on a mobile device.
• The umpire’s decision is final.

Umpire Authority & Conduct (Musa, Zaeem, Athar)

• Umpires must act neutrally and fairly at all times.
• For unsportsmanlike conduct, umpires can warn, issue yellow cards, or red cards (send players off).
• Respect the umpire always.

The three umpires will hold a separate online meeting soon to ensure all rules are fully understood and applied consistently.

Commentary & Media Rules

• Commentators must be neutral and professional.
• Only 2–3 assigned commentators (English & Urdu) may stand near the live camera. No others allowed.

Team Responsibilities

• Captains are responsible for ensuring their teams follow all rules.
• Captains must explain these rules to their players before the tournament.

General

• All standard cricket rules apply.

Let’s make it a fair, fun, and respectful tournament – InshAllah! ?
