Tournament Official Rules & Format
1. Match Overview:
• Sixit-ball Matches
• 15 overs per innings
• Bowling from alternate ends after every over
2. Powerplay Rules:
• Bowling Powerplay (3 over)
First 3 overs of innings
(Only 2 fielders allowed outside the 30-yard circle)
• Batting Powerplay (2 Over)
Batting team chooses: Any Two over from 4th to 8th OR 9th and 10th over (fixed)
(Only 3 fielders allowed outside the 30-yard circle)
3. Bowling Limits:
• Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 3 overs.
4. Team Guidelines:
• Playing XI to be declared before match starts
• Substitute allowed A substitute player can be Used only for fielding.
• Only round-arm bowling permitted
• Player Eligibility — Only residents of your
apartment are allowed to participate. Outsiders or Local players are strictly not allowed to join any team.
5. Scoring & Decisions:
• CricHeroes App for live scoring
• Umpire’s decision is final
• Only captain may approach the umpire for clarifications
6. Game Rules & Discipline:
• No LBWs or leg byes
• No-balls, byes, overthrows follow T20 rules
• Misconduct = Disqualification by organizers
• Runner allowed only with opponent captain’s approval
7. Match Timing:
• Each innings must be completed within 1 hour. If not, as a penalty, 1 extra fielder must be kept inside the 30-yard circle.
• Team captain must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time
• Players must be ready 15 minutes before start
8. Tournament Flow:
• 10 League Matches
• Each team 4 league matches
• Qualifier 1
• Eliminator
• Qualifier 2
• Final
