⚡ Bowling
In a 6-over game: Only 1 bowler can bowl 2 overs. The rest—take your one over and don’t mess it up!
In an 8-over game: Only 2 bowlers can bowl 2 overs each. No sneak requests for a 3rd over, we see you.
---
? No-Balls
Overstep the crease? 1 run + extra ball. A generous donation to the batting side.
Above waist on the full? No-ball—unless the batter is outside the crease doing a Michael Jackson lean. Then it’s fair!
More than 1 bounce? No-ball. We play cricket, not skipping stones on a lake.
---
? Out of Net
Ball outside the net (except boundary net)? 1 run, and everyone pretends it was intentional.
---
? Fielding
Max 3 on the boundary—this isn’t Fort Knox.
Min 2 behind the bowler — they’re not there just for decoration.
Min 2 in front of the bowler — someone has to field those sneaky dabs.
---
? Overthrows
Overthrows = All runs scored + bonus runs for the chaos. The ball is live off an overthrow unless it:
Hits the net and stays in play — keep running if you dare.
Goes out of the net — +1 run (just like the out-of-net rule).
Tip: if your throw smashes into the net roof or side and ricochets into space, that’s on you!
---
? Catches
Ball bounces off net (side/top) and caught = Not out. Nice try!
---
? Umpire’s Word
Umpire’s decision is final. Even if you’ve got an imaginary DRS system in your head, it’s a no.
---
? Running
No runners unless injured. Tired? Blame your cardio plan.
