KPL -8  Rules and Regulations & prizes

1- Tournament Start date will be the 20th of June 2025 (IN SHA ALLAH). 

2- 10 Teams,GroupA, will play against  Group B.

3- top 4 teams will qualify from each group.

4- 150 SR registration-To b pay CASH or (STC).

5- 18-Players squad to upload with pictures on cricheroes app without Picture player will not be considered in Squad.

6- Players from the Given Squad should play at least 1 pool match .But OPEN ⭐ Player must Play 2-Pool Matches to Play in Quarter,Semi, & Final. 

7- 14-over games.

8- 3-overs limit for a bowler.

9- Changes will be allowed after the 1st match, but 11 players from the 1st match can not be replaced.

10- 1 bouncer is allowed in an over. 2nd will be declared as a No-ball.

11- Any ball over the head is a “wide ball” and if played, it will be a legal ball, but “one of the over.”

12- There is no “No-ball” on the bowler’s “side change or on starting new over & side touch."

13- Similarly, no “No-ball” on “Wicket-keeper change”.

14-There is no concept of gallery and hence no “NO-ball” on it.

15-Free-hit for any No-ball.

16-Only 2 Star Players Allowed to play in KPL-8,

17-Chucking (watta bowling) is not allowed.

18- Every team will bring their own balls and tape (small/Softballs, or extra-large balls-Gas balls-Pakistani local brand balls and any ball without branding are not allowed)(FG DON,ADORAL,SHINE,MILAT 5& 7STAR,IHSAN,WIZAL,HELIOS etc Balls are only allowed).

19- Bowler can only object to the ball if one of the conditions is there, the tape is torn (the ball is soft or two different sizes of balls are used during an over).

20-if Any team will play with a gass ball or without branding balls, will be deducted 30 runs on the spot if the same team repated the same will be disqualified from the KPL-8.

21- Any team 20 minutes late from start time will have an over deduction.

22- Any team giving a walkover or playing with less than 7 players will be ruled out of the tournament regardless of the tournament stage & the Against Team will get the 2 points only.

23- No strike change on a catch-out even if the batsman has crossed, the new batsman will face the next ball.

24- Only a keeper can wear gloves. Others are not allowed.

25- Bowler's attempt to get the player out at the non-striker end is subject to one legal warning. On the 2nd attempt, the bowler can claim out. The bowler must have not taken the complete bowling stance to attempt for out at the non-striker end.

26- Umpire’s decision is final, and players are not allowed to confront him.

27- Fielders can be replaced with out-of-squad players. But the leaving player will lose the right to ball or bat if left after the first innings, and / or didn’t come within 7 Overs.

28- Neutral umpiring will be provided in the quarter,semi & final.

29- It will be the batting team’s responsibility to do the correct scoring on the cricheroes app.

30- Player’s stats and points table will be online in the application, and in case of any issue, you are all welcome to show your concerns and will be fixed if you find any error or omission.

31- Any concern shown at the later stage of the tournament related to earlier stats will not be entertained at all. So please keep a close eye on yours’ and others’ stats.

32- The committee has all the right to remove any team or a particular player at any time of the tournament due to misconduct. The affected team can not object to it. Rules can be added in given circumstances.

33- During the pool matches, Quarter,Semi Final & final, in case due to any government movements, and Ground Issues & any nature movements match will not b played, then the committee  will decide what to do.Match will be recalled as a new match or super over committee will decide when and where to be play.

34-Extra Filder will not be able to stand as a Keeper.

35-Team Players are not allowed to play in other tournament teams.

36-Playing 11 Player should be at the ground during His Team Batting or Bowling Before 7-Overs . 

 

37-12th, the player is allowed ,but before the match, he should be informed.

6. Trophies for players of the tournament, Bowler and Batter of the tournament 3 big Awards will be given to 3 different players.

7. Best Team of the Tournament.

8. Medals to all top 3 teams Players.
