Rules For Legacy Premier League ??

-> Each innings will be of 5 overs & 5 fresh bowlers with first over powerplay.

-> Two Umpires will be selected from non playing teams and umpires can change their decision if required only under the influence of other umpire.

-> First Over of each inning will be a powerplay wherein only three fielders are allowed to field behind bowling stumps (one at boundary, 2 behind bowling stumps).

-> If time issue occurs, the number of overs can be reduced in further matches OR the extra matches will be suspended.

-> Overthrows allowed, Byes not allowed.

-> Ball pitching outside the pitch OR behind the stumps will result as a no ball.

-> Ball pitching before the No Ball line will result as a no ball.

-> Full toss ball above waist height will be considered as no ball.

-> If ball goes out of the net, It will be declared as 1 run and strike will also be rotated. If ball goes out of the net during overthrow, one run extra will be granted.

-> Non playing teams are advised to not sit inside the turf during other matches.

-> Overpaced balls will result in a no ball without any warning. The batting team must appeal for that specific ball and then the umpire can decide whether to give a No ball or not.

-> Free Hit will be granted on each No Ball.

-> Each match should be completed within 20 mins.

-> Overstepping will be considered as a No Ball.

-> Touching the side line of the bowling box while bowling will result in a no ball.

-> Use of fiber bat is prohibited.

-> Stumping on a no ball or a free hit will be considered as Not Out.

-> Mentioning side for bowling is mandatory.

-> Sidearm ball ( releasing ball above waist height ) will be considered as no ball without any warning. The batting team must appeal for that specific ball and then the umpire can decide whether to give a No Ball or not.

-> During Non-Powerplay overs, maximum 5 fielders are allowed behind the stumps ( irrespective of the position ). No minimum player limit.

-> If players are not available then the captain can ask for substitutions from the non playing team. If the opposition team's captain is satisfied by the substitute player then only substitution can take place.

-> The opening batsmen cannot bowl in the match and any of the 5 bowlers cannot open in that particular match.
