1. Match Format and Rules
• League Matches:
• Each match will consist of 16 overs per side.
• In case of rain, a minimum of 5 overs per side must be completed to apply the (DLS) method.
• If 5 overs per side are not completed and no further play is possible, both teams will be awarded 1 points.
• Knockout Matches (Including Finals):
• Each match will consist of 20 overs per side.
• If a minimum of 5 overs per side is not completed due to weather or other unforeseen interruptions, a Super Over
will be conducted to determine the winner.
• Drawn Matches:
• In the event of a tie, a Super Over will be played to determine the winner.
• Ball Fees:A ball fee of ₹750 per match must be paid by each team. This is not included in the registration fee.
2. Points System and Qualification
• Win: 2 points
• No Result/Rain-Affected (when applicable): 1 points per team
• The top team from each pool will qualify for the knockout stage based on total points.
• In case of equal points, Net Run Rate (NRR) will be used to determine rankings.
3. Player Eligibility and Conduct
• A maximum of 16 participants per team is allowed (11 playing + 5 extras).
• A minimum of 13 players must be MBBS undergraduates.
• A maximum of 3 participants may be from medical allied fields or MBBS postgraduate courses.
• All players must carry their original college ID cards for verification.
• A xerox copy of the college ID of each player must be submitted to the supervisor prior to the match.
• Only white cricket jerseys and white shoes are permitted.
4. Match Conduct and Discipline
• Teams must report to the venue 30 minutes before the scheduled match time.
• If a team arrives 15 minutes later than the scheduled time, a walkover will be awarded to the opposing team.
• All matches will be played in accordance with standard ICC rules.
• Final in-game decisions will be made by the umpires and cannot be challenged.
• The umpires’ and organizing committee’s decisions are final and binding on all matters.
• Any team or player found guilty of misconduct may be disqualified from the tournament
