Sub: Invitation To Take Part in the inaugural “Spirit of Cricket" T10 Carnival

Respected Sir, 

We at Sportsman Spirit would like to extend an invitation to you and your esteemed cricket team to take part in our Inaugural “Spirit of Cricket" T10 Carnival, which will begin from 24th May and end on 1st June. It’s a 4-day Cricket Carnival in one of Salt Lake's most esteemed venues. Maintaining the flavor of the event, every participating team will also get one Canopy Space inside the ground to showcase their brands/ sell products during the 4 days event. The 4 Finals will be held on 1st June 2025, and we are expecting a good turnout in all the days.

The basic rules of the tournament are as follows.

1. The Tournament will be played between 8 Teams.

2. There will be 2 groups, each group consisting of 4 teams.

3. Each team will have total of 4 Matches - 3 league matches and 1 Final. Every team will have a chance to play The Finals. Based on the performance in the league stages the teams will be categorized in 4 different plates. 

4. Each team will have 2 super subs per match, increasing the chance of more players to contribute for their team and teams can make their own strategies based on the strengths of their team members.

5. Every team has to have 2 players above 40 in the playing 11.

6. Current Second Division Players are not allowed to participate in the tournament.

7. Current First Division Players and those who have been a part of any First Division Team as a player in any capacity in last 2 seasons prior to the current season i.e. 2024-25, are not allowed to participate in the tournament.

8. Bowlers with suspicious or illegal action (chucking) according to ICC cricket rules, will not be allowed. On field umpires will have the final say regarding this and they have been requested to be really strict regarding this matter. 

9. Players who are of the age of 50 and above can have substitute fielders for any amount of time and it will be not be counted within the super sub count 

10. Bowlers will have a limit of 2 overs, and batsmen will have limit of 18 balls, after which he will have to retire but can return to bat after fall of other remaining wickets.

11. All matches will be played with Standard Red Cricket Ball.

12. Aggression and Sledging are integral part of Cricket, but Cricket is also The Gentleman’s Game, so please be a bit gentle with your Aggression and Sledging. As an incentive We have a special Award for the most well-behaved team – Spirit of Cricket Award.

13. After a match starts Umpire’s Call will be the final, calling up any of the organisers will not help changing the on-field decision.

14. Scoring and live streaming will be done through the popular CricHeroes App, and the run rates/points in the app will be considered final unless any team breaks Point No.10 and 11. 

15. Teams are requested to reach the ground on time else there will be penalty. Further on field Umpires will have the full liberty to penalise teams for Slow Over Rate.

The combined entry fee for the T10 tournament will be Rs. 25,000.
