Players need pay an entry fee of ₹100 once selected in a team to their captains
Maximum of 8 players a side on field. A min of 5 players is a must for game to start after which the match will forfeited in favour of the opposing team present.
Each team to play the other teams twice.
Team ending at the top of the league will directly qualify for the Finals. There will be a semi final between 2nd and 3rd place for a spot in the finals.
Game Play Rules:
Match will be of 8 overs each innings.
Ascending and descending format while bowling and batting will be followed i.e. if a bowling team bowls in a certain order then they will have to bat in the opposite order.(1st over bowler bats last and last over bowler bats 1st and so on).
Every over fresh bowler to bowl.
There is no 1d/2d, byes and leg byes. Batters must run to score. 4 runs will be in play straight behind the bowler.
If a wickets falls on a NB the ball will not be counted and the batter will be safe.
Pace and side arm bowling not allowed.
Batter may appeal for pace to the umpire and based on the judgement shall be given as no ball.(no warning for pace)
All no balls to follow with a free hit. (No balls include over waist, pitch no ball line, bowler touching the crease on the bowling end at the time of bowling, failure in adhering to fielding restrictions, keeper collect the ball within the line of the stumps or ahead of the stumps).
There will be pitch line no balls and bowling crease no balls.
Powerplay overs are fixed on over no:4, 5 & 6. Here only 2 fielder will be allowed at the boundary line.
Fielding restrictions: max of 3 fielders can field at the boundary line and remaining shall field before the inner line.
There is no six in this tournament.
There are overthrows.
Batter hitting the ball directly outside play/nets/ boundary lines will be considered out.
Captains to confirm playing 8 at the time of toss. No changes will be entertained once the first ball is bowled. A grace period of 5 mins will be given to all teams if team members are not present and once lapsed the match shall start.
We have introduced a new bonus point rule this season: teams chasing the score within 5 overs. Or teams winning with a margin of 20 runs or more If the above criteria is met teams will win 1 extra bonus point.
Umpires call is final and binding. In case of any issue only captain may approach the umpires.
