Rules
1. Each match consists of 12 overs per innings. Toss time: 6:30 am and Start time: 6:35-6:40 am
2. Each innings must be completed within 45 minutes.
3. Each team must utilize 7 bowlers per innings.
4. Only one bowler may bowl a maximum of 3 overs.
5. A maximum of 5 fielders can be outside the inner circle at any time, except during the Powerplay. During the Mandatory Powerplay, only 2 fielders are allowed outside the inner circle. During the Batting Powerplay, only 3 fielders are allowed outside the inner circle.
6. If a team fails to complete overs within the allotted time: For each incomplete over, they must have only 3 fielders fielding outside the inner circle.
7. Each team is allowed 1 unsuccessful review per match, valid for all types of dismissals.
8. DRS must be called within 20 seconds of the umpire’s decision. If inconclusive, the on-field umpire’s decision stands.
9. During each match, the fielding team's captain (while fielding) or the batter at the crease (while batting) is allowed one unsuccessful DRS for any decision—this includes wides, no-balls, and all types of dismissals.
10. A ball that pitches outside the surface of the pitch shall be deemed a wide.
11. If either team does not have at least six players present by the toss time (6:30 am), they forfeit the toss, and the team with six or more players will choose to bat or bowl. If the match is delayed, the delay is calculated from 5 minutes after the scheduled start time (6:40 am). If both teams are not ready to play at that point, the umpire will reduce the number of overs in both innings by 1 over for every 5 minutes (or part thereof) of further delay.
12. If the captain is not among the six, a designated representative may participate in the toss and make decision on the captain’s behalf.
13. A delivery that passes above the batter’s head in a normal standing position will be called a wide. Only one bouncer is allowed per over.
14. Only the next batter is permitted to remain near the leg umpire while their teammate is batting. Additionally, a runner may be allowed for an injured batter only if the injury occurs during the match; pre-existing injuries do not qualify for a runner.
15. Resting teams may lend fielders to playing teams if required, but only with mutual agreement from both playing teams. Borrowed fielders are allowed to field only within the inner circle to preserve their fitness for upcoming matches and may bat only after all original team players are dismissed. Borrowed fielders are not permitted to bowl.
16. The standard boundary dimensions are set at 48 meters for the outer boundary and 20 meters for the inner circle.
17. Batting Powerplay (PP): Each team is allowed one additional 1-over batting powerplay, which must be announced before the start of the over. During this powerplay, only 3 fielders are permitted outside the inner circle. If not declared in time, the final over will automatically be considered the powerplay.
18. Powerplay Adjustment for Time Breach: If the innings timer expires and the batting team has not yet taken their powerplay, any remaining over declared as the powerplay will be penalized—only 1 fielder will be allowed outside the inner circle (i.e., 2 fewer than the standard 3).
19. If rain disrupts a league match, each team will receive 1 point. If rain affects the Final and play is not possible on the scheduled Saturday, one reserve Saturday will be used to complete the Final, followed by celebrations. In case the reserve day for the final is washed out, the team finishing on top of the league stage will be declared the winner of the trophy.
20. If a match is interrupted mid-innings because the ground is taken over due to an official booking, and no backup ground is available, the match will be abandoned and each team will be awarded 1 point, regardless of the match stage. .
21. Boundary decisions will be made solely by the on-field umpires (main and square leg); if uncertain, they may consult fielders or individuals outside the boundary regardless of team, but the umpires' final decision will be binding and cannot be challenged.
