Following are the rules and regulations for the Bengali New Year Tournament 2025 

1.Each team must have 11 players and 2 substitute.

2.Team registration will be confirmed only after payment is received.

3.Match fees should be handed over while submitting the player’s list for the game.

4.Form submission should contain all players contact number along with photos for registering in CRIC HEROS Application.

5.Players must provide their correct names and phone numbers. No player is allowed to participate using someone else's name or phone number.

6.If any team fails to report on time,  the organising committee will process a 15 minute delay upon which if not reported the team will be given walkover directly or the late team playing overs will be reduced.

7. Teams should strictly report to the field in the time allotted to them.

8. Players should wear a jersey and sport shoes. Note: Jeans are strictly prohibited.

9.The organizers will only provide tennis ball. Other equipment should be brought by the teams respectively.

10.Each game will consist of  6 - 8 overs depending upon teams participation with a maximum of 2 overs per bowler.

11.In case of a tie, the winner will be decided by  Super Over.

12.There will be neutral umpires for all games. Teams should cooperate and not misbehave with the umpires.

13.Abusive language and inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

14.A fee of Rs 200.00 will be charged from both teams for umpire fees.

15.The organizers reserves the right to make changes to the tournament as and when needed.

16.New player registrations can be done during the league matches with a fee of Rs 500.00, but said player must not be registered with another team in the tournament.

17.All players should be of  Bengali community as this is a Bengali New Year tournament.

18.The umpires will describe , if  additional rules are introduced before the start of each game.

19.No rescheduling of fixtures will be allowed.

20.New players are welcome to register for the tournament at any point during its duration, provided they pay a registration fee of  Rs.500.00. However, it is important to note that players who have already played for another team in the tournament are not eligible to register. Additionally, it is important to clarify that the registration will be valid only for league matches, and not for the quarter final, semi-final or final matches.

21.Banned players and teams will remain so for this year  , as per our organising committee.
