Entry Fee: £250 

Rules and regulations of the league 
  1. Midlands cricket league is a 20 over game. 
  2. Only midlands based players are allowed to take part in competition.
  3. Team registration fee is £250 to be paid by 31th April 2025. 
  4. There are 4 teams taking part in this competition. 
  5. Every game must start by 9am in the morning. 
  6. An inning must last 1h 30mins per inning, with an exception of 15mins extra, if it goes past 45mins it shall be reported and point will be deducted. 
  7. The power play rules does apply in this league. A maximum of 2 players are allowed outside the inner circle (can be estimated) during the power play (1-6 overs). And maximum 5 players are allowed outside after 6th over. 
  8. Two points will be awarded per match win.
  9. Every games in the fixtures must be played.
  10. Every teams must have their own jersey. 
  11. There is no LBW rules in this game. 
  12. Helmet is a mandatory for everyone but discrepancies upon batsmen’s decision. 
  13. An umpire must be fair and knowledgable. 
  14. A bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 bouncers in an over. 
  15. In case the weather is really bad, game will be stopped upon captains mutual understanding and points will be distributed equally if it deems unplayable. 
  16. If a bowler bowls 2 above WAIST height in an over, that player cannot complete the over. But the same bowler is able to come back to bowl later on in the inning if his captain chooses to. However if a bowler bowls 2 above HEAD high in an over, he cannot bowl in that match again.
  17. League will provide a new white match ball for every inning.
  18. Home teams must provide stumps, ground and tea.
  19. Umpire must be fair and knowledgable.
  20. if the game ends in a draw after both innings has been played, the points will be shared during league games. Once, it reaches Playoffs, there will be a super over.
  21. Every team are given until 8th  June 2025
    to declare their OFFICIAL 18 men squad.
  22. A player must play 2 group stage games to qualify to play for their teams in the qualifiers and final. 
  23. Games will not be played on a carpet pitch. If the host team fails to provide a venue, Western Park will be a default venue. 
  24. There will be an Impact Player rule in this league. Similarly to IPL, a player can be substituted during any point of the game.
  25. There will be a Man of the Match award for every game.
